A patch for Pokemon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire was released earlier this week. Nintendo has now confirmed a second update for the two games, which is due out early next month.
Version 1.2 of Pokemon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire addresses a specific issue towards the end of the game. Some players have encountered a problem where the game stops during the ending movie. Once the new update is released, this should no longer be an issue.

Pokemon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire certificate for those with Pokemon from the original games
Posted on 9 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, News | 12 Comments
A Japanese gamer who has been playing through Pokemon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire came across an interesting message. After bringing over Kyogre from his original game on Game Boy Advance, he was presented with the certificate above.
Here’s how the translation reads:
Dear player Tetra,
We hereby praise you with this certificate, for your unbreakable friendship and tight-knit bond with Kyogre.
From all members of the Game Freak staff.
The certificate doesn’t have much of an effect in Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire, though it’s still thoughtful of Game Freak to consider players from the original games!

Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire’s first update is now available for download from the 3DS eShop. The update is also available in Europe despite the game not being out there yet, so those looking to pick up the game can pre-load the patch. It should come as no surprise, but no official changelog has been released. We’ll keep you updated if anything surfaces!
