A second patch for Pokemon X/Y is now available. Players can bring their game to version 1.2 with the newest update.

As for what the patch entails, the patch notes mention the following:

– Fixes an occasional bug causing Pokémon not to learn new moves after evolving through Wonder Trade.
– Fixes an occasional bug where certain captions for Trainer PR Videos were not unlocked in Lumiose City.
– Updates an Internet communication issue.
– Includes previous update (Ver. 1.1)

Nintendo released Pokemon X/Y’s first patch in October. That one corrected a game-breaking save bug found within Lumiose City.

Pokemon Centers in Japan as well as Toys”R”Us outlets will be distributing a couple of Pokemon between December 21 and December 26.

First, Pokemon players will be able to receive Gengar with the moves Psychic, Confuse Ray, Sucker Punch, and Shadow Punch. Scizor will also be available with the Technician ability as well as Aerial Ace, False Swipe, Agility, and Fury Cutter moves. Both Pokemon are set at level 25.

Distributions will be handled by trading with staff members. Users will be given a Haunter/Gengar, which in turn evolve as soon as the trade as complete.

Those who bring along Pokemon Black/White, Black/White 2, or Pokemon X/Y will also receive a serial code for the download of a lucky egg.

A new online exploit has been created for online Pokemon X/Y battles known as the “Battle Analyser”. The tool is able to intercept data, allowing the user to view all of their opponent’s creatures and moves. While it hasn’t been perfected yet, the exploit still provides a significant advantage.

As for how the program works, a PC is used as a wireless hotspot. This allows online data to be captured, which ultimately reduces the strategy involved with battles and makes the playing field uneven.
