Nintendo’s UK store currently has huge discounts on a number of downloadable first-party Wii U and 3DS games. LEGO City Undercover: The Chase Begins is £6.95, Animal Crossing: New Leaf and Mario & Luigi: Dream Team are £7.95, and Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D, The Wonderful 101, and Pikmin 3 are down to £8.95 a piece.
Wow indeed. Thing is, those prices were likely initiated in error. I assume these “sales” won’t last long, so take advantage while you can.

Mario Golf: World Tour will set you back $40 when it finally launches, but Best Buy has the eShop version available at a discount. You can currently pre-order the downloadable release for $30. GameStop also has it listed for the same price, though it’s currently unavailable.
Digital versions of retail games not your kind of thing? That’s fine – you can pre-order the packaged version as well at Best Buy or Amazon.

Amazon: Save $35 on the new Wii Fit U and Balance Board bundle

If you’ve never purchased a Wii Balance Board previously any plan to pick up the just-launched retail version of Wii Fit U, you may want to check out a new deal running on Amazon. The retailer has the bundle, which includes a copy of the game and peripheral, on sale for $65. It typically goes for $100 on Amazon, so you’d be saving $35.

Walmart currently has the limited edition Mario & Luigi 3DS XL on sale. As of now, the bundle can be purchased for just $150 – down from the initial $200 price. You’ll receive a specially-designed 3DS XL as well as a pre-installed copy of Mario & Luigi: Dream Team.

Nintendo moves Japanese New Year’s eShop sale to the weekend

A sale was set to go live on the Japanese 3DS eShop on New Year’s Day. Unfortunately, the lengthy downtime affecting Nintendo’s online services prevented this from happening.
While it isn’t New Year’s any longer, Nintendo has now rescheduled the same sale. It’ll take place between January 11 and January 13.
