We have a few life-to-date sales figures for Wii U and 3DS titles, which you can find below. Remember, these numbers apply to the US only.
Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze – 258,000
Bravely Default – 258,000
Yoshi’s New Island – 256,000
Kirby Triple Deluxe – 138,000

This month’s NPD report is in, and so are the leaks. “creamsugar”, a member of NeoGAF known for sharing NPD data, has provided a rough breakdown of sales for each platform:
200k > PS4 > 100k > XBO > Wii U > 360 > 50k > PS3 > Wii
It’ll be more interesting to see how Wii U performs next month. Mario Kart 8 launched at the very end of May, meaning it didn’t have an absolutely major impact in last month’s NPD report. June will be much more noteworthy to examine!

We have more encouraging Nintendo-related news from the May 2014 NPD report.
First, we’re hearing that Wii U hardware sales rose by over 85 percent last month. That was with Mario Kart 8 being on the market for just two days.
Additionally, Nintendo says that the 3DS was the second best-selling system in May.
As reported by journalist Ian Sherr:
Wii U hardware sales were up more than 85% in May specifically, with only two days of Mario Kart being on the market for the survey. #NPD

Also, the 3DS was the No. 2 best-selling hardware system in the US in may, Nintendo says.

Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth sold through 80% of initial shipment in Japan

Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth took the top spot on the latest Japanese charts having sold nearly 187,000 units. Last week, the game sold through 80.64 percent of its initial shipment. Persona Q is clearly resonating with Japanese fans thus far.
