Easy Shiny Pokemon to catch before Pokemon Bank closes
Posted on 1 year ago by Ethan in 3DS, DS, Guides | 0 comments
It’s not too long now until the near-complete closure of the Nintendo 3DS’ online services in April. Though most online games are closing their doors, Pokemon Bank is sticking around for a little while longer. That being said, we have no idea when exactly it will close – but we’d estimate it won’t be around for more than another year. If you’re looking to pad out your collection with some easy Shiny Pokemon, we’ve put together a list of easier Shiny hunts you can do before Pokemon Bank closes sometime in the near future. They all take place in past Pokemon games, and we’ll be including lots of different games here.

Kirby and the Forgotten Land lore, explained
Posted on 1 year ago by Ethan in Features, Switch | 0 comments
Of every franchise Nintendo is involved in, Kirby is the one with a reputation for its in-depth lore. Unlike other games, however, Kirby lore is rarely spelled out to the viewer – instead, it’s often implied with things like pause screen descriptions and the like. Kirby and the Forgotten Land is the first main series game in quite some time that lacks pause screen descriptions for bosses. This means that, compared to the other games, the game’s lore is a bit more front-and-center. There’s a lot to unpack here, and we figured we’d round up all the lore Kirby and the Forgotten Land has to offer. Do note that we’ll be discussing full game spoilers, so if for some reason you haven’t beaten the game, you might want to bookmark this page and come back later.
The most difficult Splatoon 3 Badges to earn
Posted on 1 year ago by Ethan in Guides, Switch | 0 comments
In the past, we’ve written several guides on how to 100 percent complete certain Nintendo games. Side Order was actually one of them! While it’s entirely possible to 100 percent clear Side Order as well as the main story mode, it’s pretty much impossible to truly 100 percent finish Splatoon 3 itself. This is thanks to its Badge system – there are several tasks in the game that you can complete to earn them to display on your profile. Several Splatoon 3 Badges, however, are incredibly difficult to earn. They’re also incredibly time-consuming – we’re talking thousands of hours here – and today we’ve written a list of some of the toughest Badges to earn in Splatoon 3.

Koji Kondo’s Wonder Flower idea for Super Mario Bros. Wonder was rejected, but became a badge

During Nintendo’s recent GDC 2024 talk for Super Mario Bros. Wonder, it was revealed that Koji Kondo – the series’ longtime composer – suggested an idea for a Wonder Flower effect, but it was rejected before ultimately becoming one of the game’s badges.
After touching the Wonder Flower, Mario would become a live-action version of himself with human propositions. Players would progress while humming the background music and mimicking the various sound effects himself.
As for why Kondo’s Wonder Flower initial idea for Super Mario Bros. Wonder didn’t make the cut, director Shiro Mouri explained:
