Mario Kart Tour to end new content after Battle Tour

Nintendo have announced that Mario Kart Tour will no longer receive any new content after the Battle Tour, which is scheduled to go live on October 4. All content that is brought to the game following this will be from previous tours.

Splatoon 3 – Splatfest #9 results – Shiver vs. Frye vs. Big Man

Splatoon 3 celebrated its first anniversary this weekend with a special Splatfest, and we now have the results from the Shiver vs. Frye vs. Big Man event.
The halftime report showed that things were extremely close. Shiver was in the lead, but you could almost say it was a three-way tie. It was 33.80% for Team Shiver, 33.11% for Team Frye, and 33.09% for Team Big Man.

As someone new to the Star Ocean series, I had heard so many different opinions on the series over the years that I’d always been curious about jumping in, but not quite sure where to start. Well, apparently the second game in the franchise is regarded by many fans as one of the best, so I was really excited when Star Ocean: The Second Story R was revealed in a recent Nintendo Direct (alongside a jaw-dropping new art style). I was able to demo this remake at PAX West 2023, and left with an extremely positive first impression; exciting combat, old-school strategic depth and outstanding production values are all lining up to make this one of my most anticipated RPGs.

Nintendo Direct leaker begins leaking games for next event

Original (9/8): Pyoro, who has been established as a reliable leaker, is now starting to tease and reveal announcements for the next Nintendo Direct.
If there’s one thing you can count on, it’s a new Nintendo Direct in September. Events are always held during the beginning or middle of the month ahead of the Tokyo Game Show. Now with a new Nintendo Direct right around the corner, Pyoro again seems to have some early information.

Baten Kaitos I & II HD Remaster dev says sequel not currently planned

Bandai Namco is finally bringing back the Baten Kaitos series with remasters of the original GameCube games, but it sounds like there aren’t plans for a new entry entirely at the moment.
