Pokemon Scarlet and Violet reveal Walking Wake, Iron Leaves

Two new Paradox Pokemon have just been revealed for Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet – specifically Walking Wake and Iron Leaves. They are based on Suicune and Virizion.
These creatures are planned to be featured in a new 5-star Tera Raid Battle event. It’ll be going live not too long after today’s Pokemon Presents presentation, but it will end on Sunday, March 12, 2023, at 23:59 UTC.

Pokemon Sleep finally resurfaces, out in Summer 2023

Nearly four years after it was originally announced, Pokemon Sleep has finally reemerged. The app was shown off during today’s Pokemon Presents live stream and it was confirmed that the app launches in 2023.
In Pokemon Sleep, users will join Professor Neroli – who studies Pokémon sleep styles – and Snorlax, to carry out research into how Pokemon sleep. Also, the new Pokemon GO Plus + accessory will be compatible to track sleep in conjunction with a smartphone. The Pokemon GO Plus + will be available on July 14, 2023.

Pokemon Presents February 2023 live stream

The new Pokemon Presents event for February 2023 will be starting soon, and we have the official live stream ready to go. Remember that the fun begins at 6 AM PT / 9 AM ET / 2 PM in the UK / 3 PM in Europe.
The only tidbit shared thus far is that the new Pokemon Presents will contain “about 20 minutes of exciting Pokemon news in celebration of Pokemon Day 2023”. We could hear about currently-released games like Pokemon Scarlet and Violet and perhaps some new stuff as well, but fans have thus far been left to speculate.

Splatoon 3 update announced (version 3.0.0), patch notes

Nintendo has announced a massive 3.0.0 update for Splatoon 3 which is going live imminently. This should be available on February 27 in North America and February 28 in Europe.
A big update was expected around the start of the Expansion Pass and new season, and that’s a big component of the update. There’s a ton of new content, features, changes, and bug fixes planned. Some of the highlights include the Fresh Season 2023 items, Pool feature, Horrorboros in Salmon Run, jukebox in the lobby, and Splatfest adjustments.

Baten Kaitos I & II HD Remaster lets you increase battle speed, has New Game +, more

Bandai Namco has shared even more details about Baten Kaitos I & II HD Remaster, revealing that the game will let players increase the game speed and battle speed, and it’ll even have both New Game + and New Game – options.
Additional information started to come in following the reveal in the latest Nintendo Direct. We previously heard about features like being able to turn off enemy encounters, auto battle, skip cutscenes, and auto-save.

In just a couple of days, a new Pokemon Presents will air for February 2023. We’ve become used to seeing one of these events once per year on Pokemon Day, which happens on February 27. This day celebrates the launch of the series’ very first games in Japan.

Nintendo confirms it won’t be at E3 2023, statement released

Nintendo has made it official that it will not be attending E3 2023. Additionally, an official statement has been released.
The main takeaway is that Nintendo said that “this year’s E3 show didn’t fit into our plans”. The company did acknowledge that it has “been and continue to be a strong supporter of the ESA and E3.”

Octopath Traveler II guild locations guide

Now that Octopath Traveler II is here on Switch, we’ve put together a new guide that should come in helpful to find all of the game’s guild locations.
Similar to the first game, Octopath Traveler II provides licenses to outfit your party members with secondary jobs. These jobs allow them to access the abilities of other classes, giving your party more variety when in combat. One way to obtain these licenses is by finding various class guilds spread throughout the world.
The guide below will provide the location for each of the main eight class guilds. We also have a video version at the very end of this post.

Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope Tower of Doooom DLC release date set for March, first look

Ubisoft has provided a final release date for the first wave of Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope DLC, which is titled Tower of Doooom. It will be available on March 2, 2023.
Tower of Doooom was initially given an early 2023 release date. In the DLC, Madame Bwahstrella needs Mario, Rabbid Peach, and their friends to clean her multi-dimensional tower and save their old friend Spawny. A new combat game mode will be added that has players going up against highly strategic battles as they make their way to the top of the Tower.
