Yesterday, we saw a small glimpse of gameplay Sonic Frontiers. Thanks to IGN, we now have a lengthier look at the upcoming Switch title. The outlet has shared a new seven-minute gameplay video.

The Pokemon Company has detailed some of the new Pokemon that have been shown off for the first time as part of the upcoming Scarlet and Violet games with a specific focus on Pawmi, Lechonk, and Smoliv.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet get November release date, new trailer

Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet now have a final release date. Both Switch titles will launch on November 18, 2022 worldwide, it’s been announced.
Other than the release date, we’re able to see the official boxart, attached above. We also have confirmation that fans will be able to explore the world with up to four players. New characters have been introduced – specifically Professor Sada and Professor Turo as well as Nemona.

Super Bomberman R Online service to be terminated, new projects teased

Konami has announced that Super Bomberman R Online will be coming to an end later this year. On December 1, 2022 at 01:00:00 (UTC), the game’s service will be terminated. This applies to Switch as well as all other platforms.
Konami didn’t go into detail about its decision to end full support for Super Bomberman R Online. It merely said that there are “various circumstances” involved.

American Hero getting a physical release on Switch

A physical release of American Hero is in the works, Limited Run Games has announced.
The title originally appeared on Switch last year as a digital download. The FMV game was originally planned for the Atari Jaguar CD, but never released. Ziggurat Interactive finally ended up going through with the launch after so many years.

The Pokemon Company again saw record profits in 2021

The Pokemon Company reported its latest financial results today, and it turns out that it was another record year.
Sales were reported at 204 billion yen (about $1.6 billion). Gross revenue stands at 98 billion yen (roughly $700 million). We also know that operating income came in at 59 billion yen (roughly $470 million) while net profit was 41 billion yen (roughly $325 million).

It’s not a secret to anyone that, for a while now, Nintendo has the “weakest” piece of gaming hardware on the market. Instead of raw processing power, the company tries to attract consumers with new and unique functionality. However, hardware limitations never stopped developers from producing amazing looking games.
In today’s video, my goal is to highlight some of the best achievements on Switch from a visual standpoint. These are about games that managed to make a fantastic use of the hardware, to the point that they are a “perfect” fit for the hybrid console. You can check out the video down below.
