A Space for the Unbound delayed indefinitely as dev accuses PQube of “predatory practices”
Posted on 2 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Switch eShop | 0 comments
Mojiken Studio and Toge Productions, the primary developers of A Space for the Unbound, have announced that the game has been delayed indefinitely in light of accusations against PQube.
The issue comes down to PQube obtaining a diversity fund. While it was intended for developers, the company is accused of “intentionally withheld information about the grant and used it as a leverage for their own commercial gain.” It was further explained that PQube “hid the facts about the grant’s award and added it as a recoupable minimum guarantee and then used it to negotiate the increase of their revenue share.”
What would a “Nintendo Metaverse” look like? | Nintendo Everything Refresh Ep. 022
Posted on 2 years ago by Nicholas Serpa in General Nintendo, Podcast | 0 comments
Everyone seems to be talking about the metaverse these days (for better or for worse), which is funny because there’s no unanimous consensus as to what it even is! Is it the future of gaming, the future of work, the future of buzzwords… or maybe, just maybe, the future of Mario? What could Nintendo’s presence in the metaverse look like – or should they even bother? Join your hosts Nick, Nicolas and Luiz as they (attempt to) answer these non-fungible questions. They’ll also discuss the legacy of Wave Race 64 (which was just added to Switch Online’s Expansion Pack), a mysterious Nintendo adaptive controller, new claims of workplace misconduct at Nintendo of America, and more.
Our show is available on most major streaming platforms, including Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Amazon Music and Audible, or you can check out the video version on Youtube below. Direct downloads are also now available for free through our friends at ListenNotes.

Disgaea 7 announced for Switch
Posted on 2 years ago by Nicolas in News, Switch | 0 comments
Nippon Ichi Software has just revealed the latest installment in the Disgaea franchise, Disgaea 7. The game is set to release in Japan early next year on January 26, 2023.
The game is set in the “Hinomoto Netherworld Cluster”, a Japanese-culture inspired world now bereft of honor and Bushido. You take control of a new cast of characters, including the samurai-like demon Fuji and the cheerful Ao as you attempt to restore honor to the land of Hinomoto. Gameplay-wise, the title will expand on the over-the-top gameplay the series is known for, including new features like ranked battles, item reincarnation, or even the ability to become a giant during battles.
Check below for an overview of the game pulled from the official website (translation courtesy of Gematsu) and a trailer for the title.
