Xenoblade Chronicles 3

With delays being so common in the modern gaming landscape, it’s extremely rare to see the opposite – a game being released earlier than expected – occur. Against all odds, that’s exactly what happened last week when Nintendo announced it will release Xenoblade Chronicles 3 on July 29, significantly sooner than its initial release window of September 2022. On top of that, not only was Splatoon 3 was announced to be releasing on September 9, but several news reports were released that granted a rare glimpse inside Nintendo of America’s operations – and unfortunately, bringing to light some of the challenges that the company is facing regarding contractors and Joy-Con repairs. Join your hosts Nick, Nicholas, Dennis and Luiz as they discuss all this and more in this week’s episode of Nintendo Everything Refresh!

xenoblade chronicles 3 best entry

After the new trailer released last week, we discovered that Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is way closer than we thought, with a new release date set for July 29 rather than September. That is something incredibly rare in the gaming industry and may be a sign that Nintendo and Monolith Soft are really confident in the game.

With that in mind plus some other thoughts, in today’s video I discuss the possibility that Xenoblade Chronicles 3 could be the best we’ve seen of the series thus far. Feel free to check my conclusions below.

One of the things fans have guessed will play an important role is time. As it turns out, that’s correct. GameStop put up its listing for Xenoblade Chronicles 3, and the product description reveals that the Aionios soldiers only have “a mere 10 years to live and fight.”

The release date for Xenoblade Chronicles 3 has been moved up, with the game now set to launch on July 29. We previously had a September window from Nintendo.

According to today’s announcement, “life” is the central theme of Xenoblade Chronicles 3. In the game, players will step into the roles of protagonists Noah and Mio amid turmoil between the nations of Keves and Agnus. Six characters from those nations will come together to learn the truth behind their conflict, and set their sights for Swordsmarch, a land pierced by a giant sword.

A new piece of key art for Xenoblade Chronicles 3 has been spotted on Nintendo’s website.

The image itself isn’t easily accessible as it’s not on the game page. However, it definitely appears to stem directly from Nintendo’s website based on the original URL. We have the shot attached above, but you can also give it a look directly here.

There’s a huge contrast between Xenoblade position as a series today and twelve years ago when it started. Early on in the series, Nintendo didn’t even consider releasing the first game in North America, which led to the creation of “Operation Rainfall” – a campaign in which fans asked for the western release of 3 Wii games, including Xenoblade Chronicles.

Well, things are very different right now. Xenoblade Chronicles 3 was just announced and the level of popularity has increased considerably. Taking all of this into consideration, I discuss the good place that Xenoblade is in right now and why Nintendo is promoting the series so much. You can check out the video down below.

The game takes place in the world of Aionios, and features the hostile nations Keves and Agnus. Keves is where mechanical technology was developed and has armies that are largely comprised of combat vehicles. They use units of small, mobile weapons operated by soldiers. As for Agnus, it’s a nation based in the magical technology known as ether, which extends to combat as well. They use small, mobile, autonomous weapons featuring ether technology in battle.
