Poochy & Yoshi’s Woolly World is out today, and to celebrate, Nintendo has created a launch trailer for the game. Give it a watch:

System: 3DS
Release date: February 3, 2017
Developer: Good-Feel
Publisher Nintendo

Yoshi and his Woolly World are back to entertain you again, but this time on the 3DS – and with a friend. Yoshi has seen a long and healthy run in the handheld space with Yoshi Island remakes, spinoffs, and sequels, before going back to the console space. Now he returns home in Poochy & Yoshi’s Woolly World on 3DS. After Super Mario Maker, this is the newest 3DS port of a Wii U title from its library, but what’s the difference, if any, between its console counterpart?

Poochy & Yoshi’s Woolly World launches on Friday. For a look at the European amiibo bundle, view the video below.

During the week of January 16, Poochy & Yoshi’s Woolly sold nearly 40,000 copies in Japan. Though that may seem a bit slow, the title sold through 80 percent of its initial shipment, according to Dengeki. Poochy & Yoshi’s Woolly is off to a smooth start in Japan thus far, and may continue to sell at a steady rate going forward.

At this point, we’re pretty much done with our video coverage of Poochy & Yoshi’s Woolly World. You can search the site for additional gameplay we’ve posted over the past couple of weeks.

Dataminers have found some interesting tidbits inside the game data from Poochy & Yoshi’s Woolly World. Notably, a Corrin costume has been discovered that Yoshi will wear when using the unreleased Corrin amiibo.

Though Corrin was added to Super Smash Bros for Wii U and 3DS last year, we still don’t know when we’ll see the remaining amiibo figures corresponding with the last characters added. The inclusion of a Corrin costume inside Poochy & Yoshi’s Woolly World indicates that at least Nintendo is already preparing the amiibo functionalities ahead of their launch, which could be soon.
