We’re quickly approaching the release of the Switch version of Yo-Kai Watch on Nintendo Switch – the game will be out on October 10 in Japan. Nonetheless, Level-5 announced a fairly major new feature today: online multiplayer will be included in the game. While concrete details about the online multiplayer haven’t been announced yet, it seems like you’ll at least be able to have battles with your friends.

In a bit of Pokemon Sword & Shield related news, The Pokemon Company has launched the “Dynamax Camera” website today. You can upload pictures from your phone to this website, which will then add one of a total of 50 different Dynamax Pokemon to the picture. The site is only available in Japanese, but it’s pretty easy to navigate as all you need to do is scan the QR code on the site. Additionally, it’s safe to assume that all of the Pokemon that can appear on the picture can also be found in Pokemon Sword & Shield.

While the major content updates and balance adjustments for Splatoon 2 are done, the game is still getting some minor updates. In early October (October 10 in Japan, Australia and Europe and October 9 in North America), the game will be updated to version 5.0.1. This patch will fix two minor issues: a movement glitch with the Ultra Stamp will be resolved, and an exploit will be fixed that allows players to reach an area on Starfish Mainstage that’s supposed to inaccessible. Until version 5.0.1, Starfish Mainstage will only be available in Private Matches and will not appear in the regular multiplayer rotation, starting on September 20.
