Nintendo leak reveals a ton pitched titles for Revolution, before it was known as Wii

The Wii name is pretty recognizable these days, but that wasn’t always the case. When Nintendo first made that name known to the world, it received quite a bit of criticism. Some even felt that the original “Revolution” codename would have been a better fit.
Just like any major company does before introducing a new product, Nintendo considered a ton of different names originally. And now thanks to this week’s leaks, we’re able to see the many different titles that were brainstormed at one point or another. It turns out that there were well over 100.

Rumor has it that Nintendo is less than a year away from accepting submissions for games on the 3DS and Wii U eShops.

Valve itself has now commented on those comparisons. Designer Greg Coomer is the first to weigh in, telling IGN that Switch a “great device,” but feels the company is targeting a different audience.

Atlus hasn’t forgotten about Etrian Odyssey and the new project that was teased
Posted on 3 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in General Nintendo, News | 0 comments
The Etrian Odyssey series was prevalent on DS, and even more so on 3DS. There have been several mainline entries, remakes, and even crossovers with the Mystery Dungeon series.
Etrian Odyssey Nexus, the latest title in the franchise, initially debuted in 2018 so it hasn’t been terribly long since the last game. But fans are curious to know what’s coming next. Atlus seemed to tease what looked to be “the next stage” of Etrian Odyssey back in 2018, though we haven’t heard anything since.
