Terror Squid

Apt Games has shared a new developer walkthrough for its score-attack bullet hell game Terror Squid, which offers a four-minute look at how you navigate the self-made hazardous terrain before blowing up as much of it as you can in a chain reaction. We’ve included the video below.

Terror Squid launches on Switch later in 2020.

Over in Europe, My Nintendo members can obtain a Dodo Airlines themed after Animal Crossing: New Horizons. It costs 400 Platinum Points, though you’ll need to fork over some actual money for shipping.

New videos for Super Nintendo World have leaked from what looks to be the theme park’s official website.

The footage was spotted on the Vimeo account of one of the site’s developers. Those videos have been taken down, but not before they were preserved online.

Zero Strain

Publisher Eastasiasoft and developer Kaio Meris today announced the top-down arena shooter Zero Strain for Switch. It will launch on August 13 via the eShop.

Arcade Archives Circus Charlie is coming to Switch this week, Hamster has announced. A worldwide release is set for August 6.

Konami made Circus Charlie, which was made in 1984. The side-scrolling action title has players taking on various stages like performing special tricks and avoiding enemies.

Pricing for Arcade Archives Circus Charlie is set at $7.99 / €6.99 / £6.29.

Fire Emblem Heroes

Nintendo and Intelligent Systems have shared a trailer for the next event in Fire Emblem Heroes. Pirate’s Pride will feature Tibarn, Brigid, Geese, Darros and Veronica (and Xander). A new Paralogue Story is also planned.

Ikaruga

New information is in regarding the physical release of Ikaruga.

In Japan, there’s already a confirmed release date of September 24. Nicalis, who is handling the overseas version, is only stating that it’s coming “soon” and it’ll be out by the end of 2020.

Fairy Tail

Koei Tecmo and Gust have outlined the DLC release dates for the Fairy Tail Season Pass. Content is expected to drop through the middle of September.

Free Style’s asymmetric action game will be made free for Nintendo Switch Online members in Japan next week, Nintendo has announced. The entire experience can be accessed between August 10 and August 16. After the free period ends, all progress can be transferred to the full version.

A special sale price is also planned. Obakeidoro! will be sold for 30 percent off – from 1,980 yen to 1,380 yen – between August 10 and August 23.
