My Nintendo adds Pokemon Sword/Shield – The Isle of Armor wallpaper in North America

My Nintendo has updated in North America with a new reward. To celebrate the launch of The Isle of Armor for the Pokemon Sword/Shield Expansion Pass, a wallpaper has been added to the site. It costs 50 Platinum Points.
You can redeem the wallpaper on My Nintendo here. It’ll be on the site through the end of 2020.

Mr. Driller DrillLand demo out now on the Japanese Switch eShop, footage

Bandai Namco is letting fans try out Mr. Driller DrillLand prior to launch – at least in Japan. A demo is currently up on the Japanese eShop. As long as you create a Japanese Nintendo Account on your system, you can access the store and the demo regardless of your actual region.
Here’s a look at the demo in action:
Bandai Namco will presumably offer the Mr. Driller DrillLand demo outside of Japan soon, though there’s no official news on that currently.

Music-based action-adventure game Of Bird and Cage announced for Switch

Publisher All In! Games and developer Capricia Productions have confirmed that Of Bird and Cage, a music-based action-adventure game, will be put on Switch. The project is expected to wrap up in Q4 2020.

Overcooked 2 reveals Sun’s Out Buns Out DLC

New DLC will soon be offered for Overcooked 2, known as Sun’s Out Buns.
The latest content includes two new canine chefs, summer-themed recipes, five new levels, and a parade theme that features kitchens atop moving floats, floating kitchens, firework hazards, and confetti. It’ll also come with sauce dispensers that previously appeared in the Carnival of Chaos DLC.
Overcooked 2’s Sun’s Out Buns Out DLC will be out on Switch and other consoles shortly after the Steam debut on July 5. We have a trailer and footage for the new content below.

Superliminal, a first-person puzzle game that was previously showcased in one of Nintendo’s indie presentations, has secured a release date. An eShop listing reveals that the title is due out worldwide on July 7.
