Dead Dragons

Kemco is continuing to prepare games for Nintendo Switch having now announced Dead Dragons. It’ll be launching on February 13, 2025.

Dead Dragons is yet another RPG from the publisher. This time around players will be able to experience a story about the bond between humans and dragons.

Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver 1 & 2 Remastered update

Aspyr came out with the first update for Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 1 & 2 Remastered this week, and we have the patch notes.

The update makes a number of small improvements like the ability to press pause while watching the Bonus Materials movies. A bunch of bugs have also been fixed in both games.

Girlfriend from Hell

Publisher Sometimes You and developer That Guy’s Games are bringing Girlfriend from Hell to Nintendo Switch, they’ve announced. The game is scheduled for release on February 14, 2025.

Girlfriend from Hell is an arcade puzzler. You’ll be playing as a girlfriend seeking revenge, but keep in mind this is more of a lighthearted game.

NIS America put out a new launch trailer for Phantom Brave: The Lost Hero. After two decades, the strategy RPG franchise finally gets a new entry.

Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector

Fellow Traveller and Jump Over the Age have gone live with a launch trailer for Citizen Sleeper 2, a sequel to the 2022 original. The dice-driven RPG just made it out this week.

Ridge Racer 64 Nintendo Switch Online

Nintendo Switch Online has updated with another classic game, as Ridge Racer 64 was just made available on the service. It’s accessible with a membership to the Expansion Pack tier.

Namco was typically known for the Ridge Racer franchise. However, it was actually Nintendo Software Technology that developed this one back in the day.

Super Mario RPG official soundtrack

January 29: Listings are starting to go up on retailer websites indicating that Super Mario RPG is receiving a new official soundtrack release. 

It appears that three different versions are planned. Fans will be able to pick up the soundtrack itself, a sound box, and the sound vinyl box.

Skies Above

Skies Above will be getting a release on Nintendo Switch, publisher Flynn’s Arcade and developer HungryDingo announced today. No release window has been provided.

Skies Above is a pixel art action game. The objective here is to to help a Leviathan reach space by defending it from an endless robot army. 

Nintendo Switch Online price increase

A price increase has been announced for Nintendo Switch Online, though only for some regions throughout Latin America. The change will be taking place this March.

Nintendo started emailing customers today about the change in price. Mexico, Brazil, and Argentina will be impacted. While no changes have been announced for other regions, this is setting an interesting precedent for the future.

Date Everything delayed

Original: Just ahead of its planned launch, Team17 and Sassy Chap Games are delaying Date Everything. The game will now come to all platforms, including Switch, on February 14, 2025.

Date Everything was originally planned for October 24. The new launch date was provided in the State of Build announcement trailer, in which lead designer Ray Chase shares what the team’s been up to these past months, the game’s current state, never before revealed characters and some unexpected discoveries during development.
