Suda51 recently stopped by MomoCon and hosted an hour-long panel. Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes was discussed in-depth, and it was announced that the game is making its way to new platforms – although that isn’t really relevant here.

What is relevant is that Suda51 also touched on an interesting topic during the panel. We won’t discuss this in-depth here in case we’re encroaching on territory that some feel would be spoiler-related, but something happens in Travis Strikes Again that will be of interest to Killer7 fans. And according to Suda51, what was shown in that game is canon.

No one could have originally anticipated the final announcement for the latest Nindies Showcase earlier this year. Brace Yourself Games, in collaboration with Nintendo, revealed Cadence of Hyrule – a new game for Switch that takes a page out of Crypt of the NecroDancer.

At BitSummit a few days ago, Japanese website 4Gamer caught up with a few people involved with the game. Lead designer Oliver Trujillo and Brace Yourself CEO Ryan Clark along with Spike Chunsoft’s Riku Nikaido spoke about how the game came to be, one of Nintendo’s requests, and more such as how the team looked at Smash Bros. for Zelda’s moves.

Pokemon Detective Pikachu took home another $755,000 on Monday. Although it saw a 66% drop from Sunday and 80% from last Monday, the film is now at $131.645 million. With that, Pokemon Detective Pikachu is now the biggest-grossing video game movie ever in North America.

Tomb Raider previously held that record for 18 years. The movie earned had an unadjusted total of $131.2 million.

Pokemon Detective Pikachu is sitting at a global total of $393.4 million. Given how close it is, the film will be the third video game movie to pass $400 million worldwide, alongside Rampage and Warcraft.
