Fire Emblem Heroes has kicked off its latest event. Players can participate in Grand Conquests, in which three armies fight over territory during the course of three battles. The continent of Elibe from Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade is where battles are fought this time.
The latest Grand Conquests event in Fire Emblem Heroes will be live until January 1.
The King of Fighters 2002 is this week’s NeoGeo game on Switch

The King of Fighters 2002 is coming to Switch this week as the system’s latest NeoGeo game, Hamster has announced. It will be the 100th entry in the ACA NeoGeo series.

Clannad coming to Switch

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate getting a Mario-themed Spirit Board event

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will soon be cycling in one of its regular Spirit Board events. Starting on December 28, Nintendo is kicking off a new theme focusing on Mario.
While active, you’ll be able to find more Spirits centered around the Mario franchise. Defeating them will also net you more rewards than usual.
The Mario-focused Spirit Board event in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will last for five days.
Mario Tennis Aces – Luma confirmed for January, trailer

In November, Nintendo announced three more characters for Mario Tennis Aces. Luma, Pauline, and Boom Boom are all on the way.
Nintendo has now confirmed that Luma will indeed be the first of these new characters launching with a planned release in January. As usual, those who play in tournaments will have access first followed by general availability the following month.

New footage emerges of the SimCity NES prototype

Last August, it was discovered that an unreleased prototype existed for SimCity on the NES. Way back in the day, SimCity designer Will Wright teamed up with Shigeru Miyamoto to port the game to Nintendo consoles. It was originally planned for both the NES and SNES, though the former version never materialized.
Video Game History Foundation founder Frank Cifaldi has now posted new footage of the prototype in action. Get a look at the project below.
