2064: Read Only Memories Integral was originally planned for release this week – specifically April 5. Yet with tomorrow fast approaching, we haven’t heard much about the game as of late. It’s no surprise then that, unfortunately, it’s being hit with a delay.

MidBoss says on Twitter that the team encountered some issues during the final certification process of 2064: Read Only Memories Integral. While it will take “a few weeks to fix these final items”, the delay shouldn’t be too long. A new release date will be announced soon.

The Spectrum Retreat

Dan Smith won a BAFTA Young Game Designer award back in 2016 for his prototype Spectrum. Now Smith is teaming up with Ripstone to fully develop the game as The Spectrum Retreat, which is coming to Switch.

The Spectrum Retreat is a first-person puzzle action title. You’ll be “exploring the pristine and uncanny hotel, The Penrose, solving its ingenious color-coded puzzles and discovering the reasons behind their seemingly never-ending stay.”

Next week, the indie event Tokyo Sandbox will be held in Japan. A new game that we didn’t know was planned for Switch previously will be at the event. Videokid, developed by PixelTrip Studios, is now confirmed for the console.

Videokid is an arcade style skate game that’s set in a 1980s neighborhood. You’ll be performing skate moves through hazardous streets, avoid being busted by the cops, and pulling off combos.

Videokid currently does not have a release date on Switch. We have further information and a trailer below.

This week’s issue of Famitsu has two pieces of Switch-related news from D3 Publisher.

The magazine first announces that The Mahjong is coming to Switch in Japan on June 21. The physical version will cost 2,800 yen while the digital release will be priced at 1,852 yen.

Also on June 21, Escape Trick: 35 Fateful Enigmas will be getting a boxed release for 2,800 yen as well. It is already being sold digitally on the Switch eShop. Aside from Japan, it can currently be purchased in the west.

As Shelter Generations approaches its launch on Switch this month, Circle Entertainment has sent out a new teaser trailer. We have it below.

Earlier today, a major update for Rocket League dropped on Switch. Though Psyonix did share a ton of official patch notes, players have come across something that wasn’t mentioned.

The Switch version of Rocket League how has an option to link your Nintendo Account to Twitch. The thing is, it doesn’t work as of now. You’ll be presented with an error when attempting to connect to an account. The message “Failed to Connect With Nintendo Online Service Servers” appears.

Some folks are speculating that the link could be tied to Rocket League Fan Awards, which would make sense. However, we don’t have official confirmation at present in large part because the link is broken currently. If we receive additional information, we’ll let you know.
