Xenoblade Chronicles 2

The soundtrack for Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is massive. Despite all of the music the game has, an official OST release is happening. Fans in Japan will be able to pick up the soundtrack on May 23.

Back when the soundtrack was announced, lead composer Yasunori Mitsuda wrote up a blog explaining how difficult it was putting everything together. Fortunately, nextday from VGMdb translated a good portion of the post.

We at least have confirmation now that Dragon Quest XI on Nintendo’s console is based on the PlayStation 4 release. Producer Hokuto Okamoto finally shared the news at PAX East 2018 last weekend. This had been widely speculated in the past, but it’s the first time Square Enix has gone on the record with that news officially.

Miitomo has been updated with more content. Users will find returning stages with more items.

During the Wii era, High Voltage Software really made a name for itself. Third-person shooters and mature titles weren’t overly prevalent on the system, so the studio wanted to step in and fill the void. High Voltage saw some success with The Conduit, but had also promised another Wii shooter that never saw the day of light – that being The Grinder.

Liam Robertson and Unseen64 have taken a deep dive into the history of the first-person horror shooter and its development, including why it was eventually cancelled. You can watch the full report below.

Tennis World Tour arrives on Switch next month. When it does release, the game will be accompanied by a Legends Edition.

Tennis World Tour has a bunch of additional content. You’ll receive Andre Agassi and his 1995 outfit, John McEnroe and his 1990 outfit, Roger Federer’s racket, an exclusive coach who offers an experience boost, an online legend badge, five skill cards, and Roger Federer’s Nike “Spring 2018” outfit in Career Mode.

You can pre-order the Tennis World Tour Legends Edition currently on Amazon UK here.

Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 + 2

We’re not sure what the holdup was, but Amazon has finally opened pre-orders for Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 + 2. You can reserve the package here. If you have a Prime membership, you’ll save 20%.

Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 + 2 actually went up for pre-order a little while back, but after an incredibly short window, Amazon closed reservations. We assume that pre-orders will now remain open for good.

Other new Switch pre-orders on Amazon include My Hero: One’s Justice, SNK 40th Anniversary Collection, SteamWorld Dig 2, and Mercenaries Saga Chronicles.
