Thanks to the latest Media Create report, it’s been confirmed that The Legend of Legacy sold 53,974 copies in its first week at Japanese retail. It turns out that the title is FuRyu’s best-selling game at launch by quite a large margin.

Here’s a look at how The Legend of Legacy stacks up to FuRyu’s previous releases:

(2011) Unchained Blades [PSP] – 18,256
(2011) Unchained Blades [3DS] – 5,592
(2011) Tsuku Monogatari [PSP] – 13,329
(2012) Unchained Blades Exxiv [PSP] – 6,793
(2012) Unchained Blades Exxiv [3DS] – 6,645
(2014) Lost Dimension [PSV] – 3,868

The Legend of Legacy certainly did well given that its a new IP, and comes from a small publisher!
