Renegade Kid is kicking off a “huge” sale on the eShop tomorrow, according to studio co-founder Jools Watsham.

Watsham tweeted a few minutes ago:


I’m sure we’ll be seeing Mutant Mudds on sale. Probably other titles such as ATV Wild Ride and Bomb Monkey as well!

Shin’en is currently preparing a new update for Jett Rocket II: The Wrath of Taikai. Items addressed include:

  • The main character is now faster and more agile
  • Backlash on enemy contact has been reduced
  • ‘Black screen’ issue on Game Over screen fixed
  • ‘Mirror World’ missing Secret fixed

Jett Rocket II’s patch has already been submitted, so we should be seeing it out soon.

Nintendo is making progress with the Virtual Console on Wii U and 3DS… slowly.

Next week, the first TurboGrafx-16/PC Engine game will be hitting both eShops in Japan. The Wii U will also launch its debut MSX title.

No word yet on when support for these two platforms will be coming to the west. Soon, hopefully!

Three new games have been confirmed for the Japanese 3DS Virtual Console. Gradius (PC Engine), The Kung Fu (PC Engine), and Mega Man Xtreme 2 (Game Boy Color) will be out on December 25. Pricing is set at 600 yen each.
