More Final Fantasy Explorers screenshots and details

Square Enix has published another round of screenshots and details for Final Fantasy Explorers. Look for today’s content below.
Paladins
– High defense
– Play the role of a tank
– Paladins are best with physical and magic attacks
– Lack of mobility
– Paladins stick around on the frontlines as a shield for the party
– “Absolute Domain”: protect themselves and allies around them from enemy attacks
– Paladins can also provide the party with some support
– “Deflect”: lets them use their shield to defend attacks from enemies
– This is their go-to move as a tank
– “Spinning Edge”: offensive move; hits enemies around them
Rangers
– Long-ranged damage-dealers
– Not as strong as the melee damage-dealers, but they can use various status inflicting attacks
– Their defense is on the lower side
– This means they’re not so great at close-ranged combat
– Rangers can attack from a distance
– “Abyss Shot”: do different effects like poison or paralysis
– “Arrow Rain”: recommended to use when the tank gets hate from the monsters
Shiva the “Ice Queen”
– Located in the the dim cave known as the Tinz Underpass
– Players fight her here
– There are crystal-like parts throughout the cave, along with plenty of water-based monsters
– Shiva’s exact location is at the Tinz Lake
– Tinz Lake is dark and cold, and seems to be covered entirely in ice
– There’s also a throne-like object that is made of ice
– Shiva is covered by an extremely cold aura that puts a freezing effect on anyone who gets near
– Once you’re in a freeze status, your movement will be limited
– She also has moves like “Blizzard” and “Frozen World” that brings out spikes made of ice from the ground
– “Diamond Dust” ability for Shiva as well

Nintendo UK signs up The Vamps for new marketing campaign promoting Tomodachi Life the latest game on Nintendo 3DS & 2DS
22nd AUGUST 2014 – Top indie pop band The Vamps are set to star in an upcoming advertising campaign for Nintendo UK to promote Tomodachi Life, available now on Nintendo 3DS & 2DS. The adverts will see the band enter the crazy world of Tomodachi Life and fans will be also able to get up close and personal with the boys via official QR Codes which will allow them to import Mii cha racters of the band into their game for free.
Tomodachi Life allows you to create a crazy and fun-packed world, populated with Mii characters based on absolutely anyone you know; such as your friends, family and now even The Vamps. Your Mii characters will live on their own island together, and you can customise their lives with a variety of cool clothes and décor for their flat, as well as enjoy a host of different food from around the world. Each of your Mii characters can speak, sing, and act with their own individual personality, so watch them form surprising friendships, fall in love, and funny situations unfold. Become the director of their lives as your Mii characters star in your very own soap opera – you’ll want to share every wacky moment as it happens – and at any time you can capture screenshots. Pokemon Art Academy heading to North America on October 24

SteamWorld Dig cross-buy promotion announced (EU, AUS, NZ)

According to a post on neogaf thread from Imageform, a cross-buy promotion has finally been announced.
“It’s been quite a bit of back and forth regarding the cross-buy for SteamWorld Dig, that is, getting a discount for the Wii U version if you already own the 3DS version. We’re pleased to reveal that NOE has been able to implement this today. Everyone in the EU, AUS and NZ who owns SteamWorld Dig for 3DS will get a 25% discount when getting SteamWorld Dig for Wii U. ”

FIFA 15 Launches for 3DS and Wii in September

As we mentioned before FIFA 15 was in development for Wii and 3DS, and its official launch date has been announced.
The game is slated to launch in North America on September 23, and in Europe on September 26.

Today’s Super Smash Bros. for 3DS screenshots provide a look at the game’s sounds/music menus. You’ll find both images and explanation from Masahiro Sakurai below.
Choose your songs and play with features on the bottom screen. You can listen to character voices, too. One of the new highlights for this feature is the “Play in Sleep Mode” option in the upper right. If you turn this on, you can listen to the tracks with your headphones even when your Nintendo 3DS is closed. The L and R Buttons will let you skip tracks. This means you can use it as a portable music player. Enjoy listening to the tracks you love by putting all songs in loop, shuffle, or selecting your favorite tracks!!
