The Wii U isn’t the only Nintendo system to have been given a new system update this week. Nintendo has just published a new firmware version for 3DS – 8.1.0-18.

Of today’s update, Nintendo says:

Improved system stability and usability:

Further improvements to overall system stability and other minor adjustments have been made to enhance the user experience

Per usual, you’ll need to download the latest firmware in order to access the eShop.

Capcom shared a couple of new details about Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy at Comic-Con today. First, Ace Attorney Trilogy will feature a few minor tweaks to the games’ dialogue. Capcom also revealed that the visuals weren’t just ported from the iOS versions of the Ace Attorney games; they were actually redone in some capacity.

The official website for Pokemon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire has a few more screenshots and details for Mega Diancie. You can find all of the content below.

– Has the Magic Bounce ability
– Also has moves such as Diamond Storm and Moon Blast that benefit from its stats when it Mega Evolves
– This leads to an increase in Attack Power and Sp. Attack as well as reductions in Defense and Sp. Def.
– Blast benefits from the increase in Sp. Atk
– It is recommended that one teach Mega Diancie the move Psychic via use of a TM to take advantage of her increased Sp. Atk as well
– Mega Diancie has an increase in speed
– The Dazzling Gleam move hits both opposing Pokémon in a Double Battle
– Will be distributed at GameStop this fall
– Get Diancie in Pokemon X/Y, then transfer it to Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire if you want it to Mega Evolve

Every week, Nintendo refreshes the 3DS eShop with several “shelves”. Today’s shakeup introduces the Wario section along with several others.

Interestingly, Super Smash Bros. for 3DS is listed in the new Wario shelf. Might this mean that the character will be returning in the new Smash titles for Wii U/3DS?

Both new Sonic Boom games are launching in November, SEGA announced today.

Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal is slated for November 11 in North America. Additionally, Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric is coming on November 18.

Release dates for Europe will be announced soon.

We posted this way back when Fantasy Life originally launched in Japan. With the game’s English release on the horizon though, there’s no perfect time to share this again!
