3DS

With E3 2015 just on the horizon, lots of news has popped up over the past few days. That includes the Hyrule Warriors 3DS leak, upcoming Smash Bros. presentation, and resurfacing of Devil’s Third. We also heard about Mega Man Legacy Collection and Sonic Boom: Fire & Ice for the first time, as well as the localization announcements of PopoloCrois and The Legend of Legacy. Phew! Brian and newcomer Jon talk about of the latest news in this week’s Just a Chat.

Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden was rated in Australia a few days ago. From that listing, it’s been pretty much assumed that Bandai Namco has plans to localize the 3DS fighter.

If the Australian classification wasn’t enough, a retailer in Spain has apparently started advertising the game. Media Markt has put up a promo poster, which lists an October 30 release date. The included date is likely a placeholder, but the fact that it’s being advertised is certainly encouraging. With any luck, we’ll be getting an official announcement soon!

Thanks to the latest leaks from creamsugar – a person who is known for having access to NPD data – we now know how many Wii U consoles were sold in the U.S. during the month of May. Between May 1 and May 30, Nintendo moved roughly 42,500 units. That’s essentially the same amount as Wii U’s performance in April, when the console’s sales came in at 43,000 units.

We also have data for a pair of 3DS titles. First, Puzzle & Dragons Z + Puzzle & Dragons: Super Mario Bros. Edition sold under 32,000 copies in the U.S. last month. Meanwhile, Devil Survivor 2: Record Breaker’s sales came in at under 23,000 units.

It’s official: Ryu and Roy are coming to Super Smash Bros. for Wii U/3DS.

While the characters themselves aren’t a surprise thanks to data that previously outed their existence, confirmations of both certainly are. Clips for the two characters leaked out in the early morning about an hour or two ago. Take a look at both below.

Unfortunately for Nintendo, the leaks don’t stop at characters. We have a first look at Ryu’s stage, as well as an Inkling Girl trophy. Supposedly, Dreamland 64 is coming to both versions of Smash Bros., and new music tracks include Rhythm Heaven’s Blue Birds and Monkey Watch.

The source of the leak apparently stems from an early patch that went live in Japan. All of this content may possibly be available for download starting tomorrow!

– Goes head-to-head against Ryunosuke in the game
– Known as the “Death God” of Old Bailey, the Central Criminal Court of England
– Given that name because nobody stands after facing him in a trial
– He also has been given a dark image
– Series creator Shu Takumi explains that at the time, the Western judicial system was at the top of the world, and London shined the brightest
– However, where there’s light, there’s always darkness, and that’s where you find Baroque Vanzieks
– Takumi says that we’ve seen all kinds of different prosecutors thus far, and Baroque is one they created while coming up with his background first
– The team wanted to give him a dark vibe,
– Also wanted to give him the vibe you’d get from a “death god”
– He also has some dynamic and fierce animations to go with his undefeated record streak
