Several companies have confirmed their involvement with E3 2021, including Nintendo. Now you can add Square Enix to the list as well.

E3 2021 will take place between June 12 and June 15. Nintendo, Xbox, Capcom, Konami, Ubisoft, Take-Two Interactive, Warner Bros. Games, and Koch Media are all confirmed for the show outside of Square Enix.

LEGO Super Mario - Adventures with Luigi

There’s been a lot of talk this week surrounding the possibility of a Luigi set for LEGO Super Mario. Much of the discussion started after Mario himself started calling out to his brother. An announcement is expected in the near future, but it seems that the news has leaked early.

Amazon China is now listing an Adventures with Luigi for LEGO Super Mario. Similar to Mario, he will have his own figure to connect sets to.

On Friday, Nintendo of America filed a lawsuit against Gary Bowser, an apparent leader of hacking group Team Xecuter. It claims that Bowser infringed on the company’s copyright in creating and selling hacks. Polygon notes that Nintendo is pursuing two trafficking counts and one copyright violation.

The lawsuit refers to Bowser’s operation as “an international pirate ring” that sells Switch hacking devices designed to circumvent security measures. These devices allow users to run pirated games.

Tingle Tuner

Tingle was first introduced to the Zelda series with Majora’s Mask, but the character had an even bigger role in The Wind Waker. Players encounter him fairly regularly during the adventure, and the Tingle Tuner was a notable part of the original release on GameCube. If that wasn’t enough, there was the Tingle Island as well.

Takaya Imamura had a lengthy and memorable career at Nintendo having come up with various characters like Captain Falcon, Fox McCloud, and yes, even Tingle. Imamura also worked on The Wind Waker during its early stages of development, and it seems that his involvement led to Tingle being more of a prominent character in the game.

LEGO Super Mario

LEGO and Nintendo have collaborated over the past year on a number of different sets based on the Super Mario series. Luigi now appears to be joining the lineup.

Despite technically being a toy, LEGO Super Mario received a firmware update this week. Twitter user AyliffeMakit noticed that the character is now calling out to Luigi – something that hasn’t happened before.

Update: Trailer for the fourth season of Castlevania added below.

Original: The Castlevania animated series has been airing on Netflix with three seasons, with a fourth to follow soon. If Deadline is to be believed, the upcoming season will be its last.

Although that may come as disappointing news for some, there’s apparently still more planned for the franchise in the future. Deadline claims that “Netflix is eyeing a new series set in the same Castlevania universe with an entirely new cast of characters.”

Deadline reports that Castlevania season 4 will premiere on May 13. The previous seasons can be watched on the streaming service now.
