Hasbro has revealed “Monopoly Gamer,” a new rendition of Monopoly featuring Super Mario. The board game has characters from Nintendo’s series, and also has coins instead of Monopoly money as well as special abilities.

Here’s the full rundown on Monopoly Gamer:

It’s the Monopoly game with a Nintendo twist as it joins forces with beloved Nintendo video game characters. Instead of standard Monopoly tokens, the game features Super Mario characters, each with their own special powers within gameplay. Play as Mario, Princess Peach, Yoshi, or Donkey Kong. Finish the game by defeating Bowser at the end! It’s not just about money in this game; players earn points by buying Properties, collecting Coins, and beating Bosses. The player with the highest score wins the game.

Coins replace Monopoly money
Power-up die activates special abilities
Battle legendary Bosses

Includes gameboard, 4 Nintendo Character tokens (Mario, Princess Peach, Yoshi, and Donkey Kong), 4 Character cards, 4 Reminder cards, 8 Boss cards, 16 Title Deed cards, 1 Numbered die, 1 Power -up die, 90 coins, and game guide.

Monopoly Gamer will cost $25. Hasbro will also be selling Monopoly Gamer Figure Packs for $4 a pop that contain a Character token, Character card, and Character sticker. Wario, Luigi, Toad, Boo, Rosalina, Diddy Kong, Fire Mario, and Tanooki Mario will be sold in packs.

My Nintendo added in three new rewards for North American members today. Each one is centered around Pikmin.

First up is Pikmin Short Movies HD (Wii U) and Pikmin Short Movies 3D (3DS). Both of these are 40 Gold Points each. You can also nab a Hey! Pikmin wallpaper for 50 Platinum Points.

The Pikmin Short Movies will be on My Nintendo until the start of September. You can use your points on the wallpaper until November 1.

After more than two decades, Star Fox 2 is finally seeing release. Nintendo will be including the title in the Super NES Classic Edition at the end of September.

Kotaku emailed Dylan Cuthbert, the game’s original programmer, to talk about the news. Although Nintendo didn’t bring him on board for the Super NES Classic Edition launch, he’s personally excited, saying that it made his day.

Cuthbert also reflected on why Star Fox 2 never saw release in the first place:

“Our older retro form of 3D just didn’t cut it anymore and Nintendo didn’t want to raise comparisons. I agree that strategically (if not emotionally) it was the correct decision. But now our older retro form of 3D is the new cool kid on the block, it’s perfect timing!”

Earlier today, the Super NES Classic Edition was announced for North America and Europe. Japan will also be receiving a similar product in the Nintendo Classic Mini: Super Famicom, which has just been announced. It will be coming out a few days later on October 5.

The Nintendo Classic Mini: Super Famicom will have 21 games just like the Super NES Classic Edition. However, there are some differences in the games that are included. Fire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem, Panel de Pon (Tetris Attack), Super Soccer, and The Legend of the Mystical Ninja are featured in the Nintendo Classic Mini: Super Famicom, for example.

Here’s the full announcement and lineup of games:

Nintendo Co., Ltd., (HQ: Kyoto Minami-ku; Representative Director and President: Tatsumi Kimishima) announced that the home console, Nintendo Classic Mini: Super Famicom, will launch on October 5, 2017 at a manufacturer suggested retail price of 7,980 yen (tax not included).

Nintendo Classic Mini: Super Famicom (to be sold as Super Nintendo Entertainment System: Super NES Classic Edition in the U.S.) is a compact recreation of Super Famicom (sold as Super NES overseas), which launched in 1990, and features a collection of 21 titles selected from the rich library of Super Famicom games. The two included controllers have been recreated with the same size and button layout as the Super Famicom controllers, so you can relive the gameplay experiences of the ‘90s.

With the NES Classic Edition, the European version didn’t come with an AC adapter. Unsurprisingly, the same situation is in place with the Super NES Classic Edition.

Those picking up the North American version of the Super NES Classic Edition won’t have to worry. Nintendo will indeed be including an adapter with the packaging releasing stateside.
