Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl Reptar

GameMill, Ludosity, and Fair Play Labs have issued a new character showcase for Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl that shows off Reptar from Rugrats.

In the game, players battling with Reptar will be able to use the following moves: Light Neutral “Headbutt”, Light Up “Head Swipe”, Light Down “Snout Slam”, Light Neutral “Tail Swipe”, Light Up Air “Air Kick”, Light Down Air “Leg Kick”, Light Dash Attack “Somersault”, Strong Neutral “Heavy Tail Swipe”, Strong Upper “Backflip Swipe”, Strong Down “Tail Slam”, Strong Neutral “Aerial Heavy Tail Swipe”, Strong Up Air “Blazing Headbutt”, Strong Down Air “Spike Crash”, Strong Dash Attack “Divine Bite”, Neutral Special “Fireball / Volcanic Beam”, Up Special “Jurassic Slam”, and Down Special “Flame Breath”.

Publisher Humble Games and developer Studio Pixel Punk have issued a launch trailer for their new game Unsighted. The title, an action RPG, is out now on Switch.

The Game Awards 2021 date

The Game Awards 2021 now has a final date. Like all previous years, it will close out the year in December. Fans will be able to tune in on December 9.

The Game Awards skipped its in-person presence in 2020 due to the pandemic. For 2021, creator and host Geoff Keighley will be bringing that component back. It will be invite-only and is set to be held at the Microsoft Theater. Information regarding health and safety protocols will follow at a later date.

Darksiders III trailer

THQ Nordic and Gunfire Games have prepared a new Switch-specific trailer for Darksiders III, their action adventure title. The game is out now on the console.

Publisher Focus Entertainment and developer Limestone Games have set a release date for Aeon Must Die!, their stylish beat ’em up game. Switch owners can pick up the title starting October 14.

Monster Hunter Rise update 3.4.1

Capcom has issued a new 3.4.1 update for Monster Hunter Rise. There’s no new content this time around, as it’s only intended to fix (many) bugs.

Metroid Dread "Report Vol. 9"

Nintendo and MercurySteam are back with another report for Metroid Dread. Rather than bringing along major reveals, this one is more about informing players about what to expect. It includes information about controls, exploration, and more.

At TGS 2021 today, Capcom confirmed that Malzeno is the flagship monster for the Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak expansion. It’s confirmed to be “a fierce elder dragon”, but Capcom didn’t have a whole lot else to say.

Outside of Malzeno, we do have a little bit of additional news. Shogun Ceanataur, a crab-like monster who first appeared in Monster Hunter 2, will be present in Sunbreak as well.

Children of Morta ancient spirits

Support for the action RPG Children of Morta continues with a free update and upcoming Ancient Spirits DLC.

Today’s update includes Consecration, a new objective added to the combat-focused Family Trials mode. Two full language localizations have been added as well including voiceovers in Persian and Japanese. The Japanese voiceover features the talented Takaya Hashi, who has previously worked on Naruto and Sailor Moon. Hashi acts as the game’s narrator.

Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition

A rating for Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition has just now surfaced. The game appeared in Korea’s classification database earlier today.

Grand Theft Auto III, Vice City, and San Andreas remasters were rumored just over a month ago. Based on a Kotaku report, the games have been redone primarily by Rockstar Dundee in Unreal Engine and will feature a mix of “new and old graphics”. The titles will supposedly have updated UI but will hold on to the same classic style. The goal is ultimate to stay true to the PS2-era GTA games as much as possible.
