Mask of Mists

9 Eyes Game Studio’ first-person action-adventure game Mask of Mists is making its way to Switch courtesy of Sometimes You, an eShop listing reveals. A release is scheduled for September 2.

Bandai Namco has dated the next major update for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. The patch, which features Chronoa as a new playable character and more, arrives on August 26.

Inmost

Minecraft

Minecraft received its latest update last week. Version 1.61.20 introduced new features, but players also began to encounter stability issues. The good news is that this seems to have been addressed with another patch that has gone live.

One Line Coloring

The vibrant puzzle game One Line Coloring arrives on Switch today. MythicOwl has shared a launch trailer, which we have below.

One Line Coloring is being distributed for Switch via the eShop.

Indie developer and publisher Rake in Grass as announced that its side-scrolling space shooter, Jets ‘n’ Guns 2, is coming to Switch. Check out an overview and trailer below.

Fire Emblem Heroes has been hosting several Limited Hero Battles this past week. As of today, with the start of Legendary Hero Battle – Lucina: Glorious Archer, all five of these Limited Hero Battles are available at the same time. These include the aforementioned Legendary Hero Battle, Bound Hero Battle: Chrom and Lisa, Grand Hero Battle – Garon: King of Nohr, Bound Hero Battle: Corrin and Azura, and Grand Hero Battle – Jamke: Prince of Verdane. These battles can offer rewards including Hero Feathers and Divine Codes (Part 1), and will be available until August 23.

Additionally today, the latest Mjölnir’s Strike has entered its shield phase. Depending on how high a player scores, this can reward Divine Codes (Part 1), Midgard Gems, and Dragonflowers. This will last until August 23.

Marvelous Japan has updated the website for Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin to detail all the specifics of the action gameplay and combat. There are videos for specific fighting moves that will be integral to the game as well as small explanations for each. 

Also included are a few screenshots of the map and UI of the game, giving details on such things as a Day and Night cycle, searching for objectives, and difficulty selection.

As first reported by Gematsu, Studio Artdink’s newly established brand “G Choice” is bringing a new RPG to Switch. This game is Witch Spring 3 Re:Fine -The Story of the Marionette Witch Eirudy and it will be developed by Kiwi Walks.

The game is an enhanced port of the 2017 iOS and Android game Witch Spring 3 and it is described as a “witch raising RPG.” It’s releasing worldwide for 2,980 yen digitally and a physical release will also be available in Japan for 3,980 yen (included with an artbook and CD). 

Witch Spring 3 Re:Fine -The Story of the Marionette Witch Eirudy is currently set for a December 3, 2020 release date and it is unknown at this time if it will have multiple language options. The port will include extra features though and there is a list below, as well as some story details, courtesy of Gematsu.
