PixelJunk Monsters 2’s demo was originally supposed to come to Switch this week. Unfortunately, that will no longer be happening. We’ll still be seeing the demo at some point, but “publishing setbacks” prompted a delay.
In the meantime, below you can get a close look at the demo with some footage. Dylan Cuthbert, one of the primary developers, played through it in full.

GameStop has kept up its weekly tradition of restocking the SNES Classic Edition. If you’re interested, units are available here.
There’s no doubt that the SNES Classic Edition has been much more widely available compared to its predecessor. The NES Classic will also be offered again sometime this year.

First 4 Figures has revealed a new Okami statue featuring Shiarnu Resin. Pre-orders are opening today.
Fans can choose between two versions – the exclusive edition and regular edition. Their contents are as follows:

Famitsu Award 2017 winners announced

During a ceremony earlier today, the Famitsu Award 2017 winners were announced. Fans were able to vote on the various categories based on titles released between January 1, 2017 and December 31, 2017.
Zelda: Breath of the Wild earned top honors, winning Game of the Year alongside Dragon Quest XI. Producer Eiji Aonuma and director Hidemaro Fujibayashi were present at the event. Switch was also recognized for its innovation and impact on the industry.
