At the Tokyo Game Show this week, Koei Tecmo revealed Celica as a new playable character for Fire Emblem Warriors. That isn’t the only new character announced at the expo, however.

Two more characters are confirmed. Both Tiki and Caeda are both joining Fire Emblem Warriors.

Caeda was technically known previously due to a leak from the new Nintendo Direct trailer. Tiki was also hinted at from a boxart leak. However, it’s the first time Koei Tecmo is confirming both characters for the game officially.

You can see the first gameplay of Tiki and Caeda below.

It was revealed earlier today that a major update is on the way to Super Mario Run. On September 29, Nintendo is adding a Remix 10 mode, new playable character Daisy, World Star, and the ability to play your own music. The full details are here.

Nintendo is launching Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser’s Minions on October 6. For those who want to prepare for the release digitally, the pre-load option has gone live on the eShop. You’ll need 4,389 blocks / 548.625MB of free space.

Pre-loading allows users to buy game in advance and download most of the required data. Nintendo will then issue an update on release day, allowing fans to begin playing almost immediately.

New content in coming to Super Mario Run next week in what is being called the game’s biggest update yet. Nintendo will be adding several features on September 29, according to a preview from Apple.

Remix 10, described as a “frenetic new mode”, involves playing ten very short sections from existing levels. Stages are remixed each time and rainbow medals can also be found. By completing stages and obtaining medals, you’ll have an opportunity to collect new items and rescue Princess Daisy.

Once you’ve unlocked Daisy, she’ll be playable in all modes. Nintendo is also adding World Star with nine new levels and the ability to choose your own music while playing the game. Playing with customize music will show Mario and the rest of the gang wearing headphones.

The update will be accompanied by a sale on September 29. The game will be about 50 percent off for two weeks.

For the original NES Classic Edition, Nyko created the Miniboss wireless controller. The company is returning with something similar for the Super NES Classic edition.

Around the launch of the Super NES Classic Edition, consumers will be able to purchase the Super Miniboss, a wireless controller for the system. It was designed to replicate the retro style and feel of the SNES while offering cord-free gameplay. A turbo button for fast inputs is also included, which also has home screen functionality by hitting that button along with select.
