Atlus on Shin Megami Tensei V – themes and keywords, working with Unreal Engine 4, more

With Atlus preparing a new teaser trailer for Shin Megami Tensei V yesterday, Famitsu shared a new interview with Kazuyuki Yamai, who is leading development on the game. Although Yamai didn’t offer any gameplay specifics, he spoke with the magazine in general about topics like themes and keywords, as well as using Unreal Engine 4.
Gematsu translated the tidbits from the interview that have leaked online thus far. We’ve rounded them up below.

Sparkle 2 Evo hitting Switch on November 2

Forever Entertainment has set a release date for Sparkle 2 Evo. In both North America and Europe, the title is slated for November 2.
In Sparkle 2 Evo, you begin as a small organism as you explore the abyss in search of nutritional elements. You’ll go after other species when you run out of other food sources. Ultimately the goal is to grow, but how you grow will be up to you – be it a fast and aggressive carnivore, a sluggish but fast-eating herbivore, an omnivore, or something else entirely.

Toys “R” Us restocking Super NES Classic Edition on Friday, Switch will also be available

If you’ve yet to secure a Super NES Classic Edition, you may want to try your luck at Toys “R” Us. Later this week, it’ll be restocked at the retailer.
Toys “R” Us published a tweet confirming that the SNES Classic Edition will be back in stock on Friday. Switch will be available, too.

World End Syndrome announced for Switch

Arc System Works has announced World End Syndrome for Switch. A teaser website for the game went up earlier today, though it doesn’t reveal much. More details have come out since then (thanks to Gematsu for the translation). The game is described as a “love adventure” game. The protagonist moves to a town called Mikamachi, which is enclosed in a cove, where he meets several girls. Two have been revealed so far:
