NIS America is sharing new details about Culdcept Revolt today starting with the game’s characters. The image above introduces Allen and also shows off the Free Bats as well as the Court’s Army.
NIS America also passed along the following information:
The main story takes place in “Quest Mode”, where you play as Allen, a man who wakes up in the city of Celphas with no memory of how he got there. He is discovered and rescued by the rebel group, the Free Bats, as he begins to recall his past and his powers as a Cepter. As you collect cards and search for Allen’s lost memories, the mystery of the city of Celphas slowly begins to reveal itself.
In addition to experiencing the story of Allen and the Free Bats, you will also be able to play optional challenge stages in Quest Mode for over 150 single player stages.
Culdcept Revolt heads to North America on August 29 and Europe on September 1.

Fire Emblem devs interested in using the “Echoes” name again if there are more remakes
Posted on 8 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in General Nintendo, News | 28 Comments
Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia is a remake of Fire Emblem Gaiden, the Japan-exclusive Famicom title. Using that “Echoes” name may not just be a one-time thing.
A new developer quote (probably from Nintendo Dream or another similar Japanese magazine) has one representative from Intelligent Systems saying that “Echoes” would probably be used again with another Fire Emblem make – if one were to be made.
The person stated:
“We put a lot of thought into a title like ‘echoes’ that can let older games ‘echo’ with the modern players. We were very pleased with it, and, if there were to be more remakes, we would likely use the “ECHOES” title again.”
Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia launched in Japan last week. It’s due out on May 19 in North America and Europe.
Thanks to Brian for the tip.

Construction on the new Super Nintendo World section of Universal Studios Japan seems to be starting in the near future. Over at the park, the parking lot now has huge white construction walls in place. A sign also teases, “A new universe is on the horizon”.
This area is located between the waterworld show, Jaws, and Harry Potter, which is where it’s thought that the Super Nintendo World area will be. Nintendo says it will open by the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
