For those looking to save a bit of cash on Pokemon Sun/Moon ahead of release, Amazon has you covered. Both games are currently “on sale” for $32. The same also goes for Omega Ruby, Alpha Sapphire, and X. You can order them all on Amazon here.

Earlier in the week, we found out that the final DLC for Hyrule Warriors Legends (and the original Hyrule Warriors) is arriving on Monday. Nintendo has now sent out a trailer, which we have below.
Nintendo has no plans at this point to release Super Mario Run in China

Wall Street Journal technology reporter, Takashi Mochizuki, states that Nintendo has no plans to release that game in China at the time being. Nintendo announced Super Mario Run at an Apple press conference earlier this year. Despite announcing that the game would come over to approximately 150 countries, it seems that Nintendo seems reluctant to release it in China–at least for now. Super Mario Run is set to release in December of this year.

Splatoon maintenance taking place next week

Splatoon is the latest game to have been added to Nintendo’s maintenance schedule for next week. The shooter’s online services will be impacted for roughly 90 minutes on Monday (Tuesday in Europe).
The times are as follows:
– 5 PM PT (October 31) – 6:30 PM PT (October 31)
– 8 PM ET (October 31) – 9:30 PM ET (October 31)
– 1 AM in the UK (November 1) – 2:30 AM in the UK (November 1)
– 2 AM in Europe (November 1) – 3:30 AM in Europe (November 1)

Nintendo, Hori releasing trio of 2DS pouches in Japan

Nintendo and Hori are teaming up for three new 2DS pouches in Japan. One features Mario, another is based on Pokemon (featuring Pikachu and the starters), and the final one is for Animal Crossing. Each one is scheduled for December with a 1,780 yen price point.

Today, Arc System Works announced the Japanese release date for Kunio-kun Nekketsu: Complete Famicom Compilation: December 8th. If you buy the game at launch, you also get a total of six 3DS themes, each of which is based on one game from the collection.

Today, The Pokemon Company announced distribution details for Genesect for some major European countries as part of its Pokemon 20th anniversary celebration . Visit the following stories during the distribution period to receive a download code for Genesect:
- UK: GAME, Novembers 1st – November 24th
- France: Micromania, November 2nd – November 24th,
- Germany: Gamestop & Toys ‘R’ US, November 2nd – November 24th
- Italy: Gamestop, November 1st – November 24th
- Spain: GAME, November 1st – November 24th
Download codes are valid until February 28th 2017, and can be redeemed in Pokemon X, Y, Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.
Zelda: Breath of the Wild – “Hyrule: Then and Now” official translation

A couple of days ago, Nintendo compared The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild to the original NES Legend of Zelda on their Japanese website, offering up a few comparisons in the way Hyrule looks in both games; we translated that article here. Today, Nintendo of Europe released essentially the same article in English. It doesn’t really offer any new insights – even the screenshots are still from the Japanese version.
