The latest episode of the Play Nintendo Show has gone live. View the new video below, which focuses on Mario Party: Star Rush.

The latest episode of Pokemon Generations is now live on the official Pokemon YouTube channel. We’ve gone ahead and attached it below.

Pokemon Generations revisits each generation of the Pokemon games and sheds new light on some timeless moments. New episodes will be available weekly through December 23.

Cypronia’s sandbox title Cube Life: Island Survival is being revitalized on new platforms. Originally made for the Wii U eShop, the company announced today that the game is now heading to Switch and other non-Nintendo systems.

Cypronia hasn’t said how the new version of Cube Life: Island Survival will play. The indie developer is only calling it an “HD version” – despite the fact that it did originally output in HD on Wii U.

In Japan, the standalone release of 3D Power Drift is now available, with the main hook allowing players to control various SEGA characters. View a few minutes of footage below.

For the launch of Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon later this month, Nintendo UK will be hosting an event at The Old Truman Brewery from 5 PM to 10 PM local time. Fans can look forward to different activities, competitions in Battle Royal, an appearance by battle designer Shigeki Morimoto, and more.

If that wasn’t enough, those who have the classic Pokemon games on the 3DS Virtual Console can partake in a Mew distribution. It’ll be available in Pokemon Yellow, Red, and Blue.

Nintendo has scheduled new maintenance for Animal Crossing: New Leaf – Welcome amiibo taking place next week. There should be downtime of roughly 90 minutes.

Here’s the schedule:

– 7:30 PM ET (November 7) – 9 PM ET (November 7)
– 12:30 AM in the UK (November 8) – 2 AM in the UK (November 8)

On November 11, the NES Classic Edition will launch around the world. In North America, Nintendo has a few activities lined up to celebrate, including the return of the Power Line.

During the ’80s, players could call the Power Line and connect with Nintendo Game Play Counselors for tips and tricks. When you call in next week between November 11 and November 13 using the phone number (425) 885-7529, you can listen to recorded tips for various games as well as behind-the-scenes stories from original Nintendo Game Play Counselors.

Nintendo has a couple of other plans to celebrate the NES Classic Edition as well. An ’80s-themed launch event will take place on November 10 at Nintendo NY, and Nintendo’s social media channels “will go completely retro” on November 10 / 11.

A couple of weeks ago, Nintendo published two interviews with Shigeru Miyamoto and Yoshio Sakamoto on their Japanese website. Miyamoto, obviously, created Donkey Kong, and Sakamoto developed Balloon Fight. Both of these NES games are among the games lineup of the NES Classic Mini, which was the occasion for these interviews. Now, Nintendo of America has provided an official translation of both interviews on their website.  We’ve already provided an overview of the Miyamoto interview here, but it if you want to check out the official translation, you can find it here. Level-5 just released a pair of new Yo-Kai Watch 3: Sukiyaki commercials. Sukiyaki is the third version of Yo-Kai Watch 3 and will be released on December 15th in Japan.
