Spells & Secrets physical

We have news about yet another physical release on Switch, this time for Spells & Secrets. Merge Games will be handling distribution.

Spells & Secrets was previously secured for Switch following a hugely successful Kickstarter campaign. Currently it’s targeted to launch in Q2 2023.

Pokemon Scarlet Violet Tera Raid Battle Garchomp Sylveon

Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet have revealed their latest Tera Raid Battle event, this time featuring Garchomp and Sylveon.

These two creatures will appear more frequently in 4-star and 5-star Tera Raid Battles. Both have various Tera Types, so players will need to prepare wisely before taking them on.

Blanc trailer

To celebrate the debut of Blanc, a new launch trailer has arrived. Gearbox Publishing and Casus Ludi just brought the artistic cooperative adventure to Switch.

Charade Maniacs

Today, Idea Factory announced that Charade Maniacs will be released in English on Switch in the west. It’s due out sometime this summer.

Charade Maniacs is an otome title that previously appeared on the PlayStation Vita. It comes from the writer of Psychedelica of the Black Butterfly, Uta Amamiya, and the illustrator of Norn9, Teita. 

Metroid Prime Remastered frame rate resolution

Metroid Prime Remastered ended up on Switch last week following a reveal in the latest Nintendo Direct, and Digital Foundry has now provided a technical analysis that includes coverage on aspects like frame rate and resolution. Retro Studios seems to have done a great job bringing back the GameCube classic here, and it’s closer to a remake.

Bandai Namco, along with Dimps, today unveiled a release date and details for Dragon Ball: The Breakers Season 2 – which is highlighted by Vegeta as a new Raider:

Players will be able to take charge as the Prince of Saiyans, where your goal is to eventually become the legendary Great Ape. On top of that, new Survivor Skins are planned for Yajirobe, Chi-Chi, and King Furry.
