Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Shredder's Revenge behind the scenes 2

Publisher Dotemu and developer Tribute Games, in partnership with Nickelodeon, today issued a second behind-the-scenes video for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge. In it, the team discusses their vision for channeling and evolving the timeless fun of beat ’em ups.

Dotemu says that Tribute Games “analyzed the series’ past beat-em-ups to ensure Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge faithfully captures the spirit of TMNT and its classic games.” The team implemented “smart refinements including unique attributes and moves to accentuate each character’s personality.”

Super UFO Fighter release date trailer

Publisher Phoenixx and developer VV-LABO have set a new release date for Super UFO Fighter, their head-to-head party action game. Switch will be getting the title on July 14, 2022.

Super UFO Fighter was announced for Switch last June. It was originally planned for this past January, though it was later delayed to Q1 2022. That release window was missed, but we at least have a final date.

Original (5/16): Neon Doctrine, GameChanger Studio, and Toge Productions have shared a new release date for their dating sim and management game, My Lovely Wife. The game is now set to release in June 2022.

My Lovely Wife was originally announced for Switch last year, but no release window had been provided at the time. Here’s some additional information on the title:

Gameplay for Goetia 2, Forever Entertainment’s sequel puzzle adventure game, has surfaced as the game launches today on the Switch eShop. Over 25 minutes are available.

Fairy Fencer F Refrain Chord

Compile Heart has gone live with the first trailer for Fairy Fencer F: Refrain Chord, which provides an initial look at gameplay.

The tactics RPG was announced for Switch earlier this week in Famitsu. The game will feature characters from the previous games, a new “Dramatic Resonance” in battle, and treasure hunting on the world map.

Kao the Kangaroo combat

With just a little over a week to go until launch, Kao the Kangaroo is highlighting how combat works in the game. Kao uses his boxing gloves to take down all sorts of enemies in the 3D platformer.

AI: The Somnium Files - nirvanA Initiative characters

Spike Chunsoft is back with another trailer for AI: The Somnium Files – nirvanA Initiative that highlights the game’s characters. Mizuki, Aiba, Ryuki, Tama, Kizuna, Lien, Amame, Gen, Shoma, Tokiko, Chikara, and the Masked Woman are shown off.

If that wasn’t enough, today’s video also shows off the free costume DL C”3 Pattern T-Shirt Set” and “Hot Dog Costume Set” for Aiba and Tama. As a reminder, this will be offered for free for three weeks following launch.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero characters

NIS America has issued a new characters trailer for The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero, which offers a look at the members of Crossbell’s Special Support Section. Lloyd Bannings, Elie MacDowell, Tio Plato, and Randy Orlando are specifically shown.

The first episode of Pokemon: Hisuian Snow, titled “Onto the Icy Blue”, is now available for viewing.

This is the new anime series that’s been made to promote Pokemon Legends: Arceus on Switch. In it, protagonist Alec, who is aboard a boat bound for the Hisui region, reminisces about the first time his father took him there. The show will cover Alec’s stories from the past.

The weapon trailer series for Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak continues, as Capcom has now shared trailers for the Great Sword, Insect Glaive, and Hammer. The Great Sword receives a new stance to give players a defensive boost, the Insect Glaive’s Kinsect will be able to inflict more damage than previously, and the Hammer’s ability to stun monsters increases.
