3DS eShop

BRAMBLETYNE has take to Kickstarter in hopes of funding Space Probe, a “retro-inspired casual game about collecting monsters & exploring the universe”. The goal is reasonable, as the team is only seeking £1,000 for the project. A New 3DS stretch goal lies further ahead at £5,000.

Several new games out came out this week on the Wii U and 3DS eShops. If you’re interested in checking out what’s new in screenshot form, take a peak at the gallery below.

Yesterday’s Nintendo Download report noted that some Sonic games are now discounted on the North American eShop. However, it didn’t include any specifics on the titles and prices.

We’ve gathered up that information below:

Sonic Lost World (Wii U) – $19.99 (was $29.95)
Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric (Wii U) – $19.99 (was $29.99)
Sonic Generations (3DS) – $19.99 (was $29.99)
Sonic the Hedgehog: Triple Trouble – $2.99 (was $4.99)

These discounts are valid until June 6 at 8:59 AM PT / 11:59 AM ET.

Mighty No. 9 was showcased during Inti Creates’ live stream on Niconico just a short while ago. We now have a recording of the segment below. Unfortunately, the quality is on the low side due to the nature of the stream.

On May 30, the eShop will be down for six hours of maintenance. The digital stores on both Wii U and 3DS will both be impacted with downtime.

Here’s when the maintenance is scheduled for:

– 1 PM PT (May 30) – 7 PM PT (May 30)
– 4 PM ET (May 30) – 10 PM ET (May 30)
– 9 PM in the UK (May 30) – 3 AM in the UK (June 1)
– 10 PM in Europe (May 30) – 4 AM in Europe (June 1)

Azure Striker Gunvolt has managed to reach another sales milestone. Through Twitter, Inti Creates announced that the game’s downloads are past the 160,000 mark on 3DS. The news was celebrated with a special piece of art, pictured above.

Inti Creates has been announcing sales milestones for Azure Striker Gunvolt at 10,000 intervals. The most recent accomplishment was in March, when the game topped 150,000 downloads.

Nintendo has some maintenance lined up for Flipnote Studio 3D next week. Network services will be impacted for a couple of hours in a little less than a week from now.

Here’s when the maintenance is scheduled for:

Futuridium EP Deluxe is heading to the Wii U eShop today. A New 3DS version is also in the works, and it’ll support cross-buy upon release.

Mighty No. 9 publisher Deep Silver uploaded a new trailer for the game yesterday. To say that it wasn’t received well might be an understatement. Have a look at the YouTube page here, and you’ll truly understand how fans have responded to the video.

Inti Creates CEO Takuya Aizu is none too pleased with the new Mighty No. 9 trailer either. Aizu recently put up the message shown above on his Twitter page yesterday. Perhaps Deep Silver should have consulted with Inti Creates, as they were behind the project’s development.
