3DS eShop

Natsume has confirmed a pair of new titles for the 3DS Virtual Console. Lufia: The Legend Returns and Harvest Moon 2 GBC will both be making their way to the eShop sometime in the future.

Natsume shared the news on Twitter just a little while ago:

– StreetPass Arena: the entrance to participate in StreetPass battles
– It’s run by the infamous Passmaster Super Skeleton
– Talk to the character to participate in battles between two Shovel Knights like Mario Bros.
– Frenetic fun race to the gems or wild fight between Shovel Knights where you can use every relic at Shovel Knight’s disposal
– Won’t be fighting each other at the same time
– The StreetPass Arena instead asks that you record your battle strategy ahead of time without seeing your opponent
– 3 short, five second ruounds
– Collect gems while guessing where the opposing Shovel Knight will be and swiping at air hoping you’ll hit your opponent
– Your opponent always starts on the right side and you will always start on the left side
– Get StreetPasses in the real world to activate this feature
– If you win, you’ll receive a reward

Irvine, Calif. – June 10, 2014 – After an unplanned hiatus, Shin Megami Tensei® IV is back on track for releasing in Europe. The groundbreaking RPG from ATLUS is the first true Shin Megami Tensei sequel since 2003’s SMT: Nocturne. ATLUS will be self-publishing SMT IV in Europe as a digital download release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS™. The release will be English language-only, and the price is still to be determined, but the launch is targeted for Q3.

The story of SMTIV revolves around the Samurai, the sacred protectors of the Eastern Kingdom of Mikado. As a newly appointed Samurai, players will struggle with factions that have nefarious designs on the world as they defend Mikado from a growing army of demons flowing from the mysterious dungeon, Naraku. Decisions players make throughout the course of the story will have lasting repercussions, as the fate of the world hangs in the balance.

Details on the European release, including price and DLC availability will be revealed in the coming months.

Nintendo has put a whole bunch of games on the eShop. Mario, Sonic, Zelda, LEGO, and Yoshi games have been discounted. Find the full list here.
