In the Japanese Nintendo Direct this week, Nintendo announced The Dead Heat Breakers for 3DS. It’s a new game featuring Dillon from Dillon’s Rolling Western. We have a few details about the project.

The Dead Heat Breakers is an action tower defense game that depicts epic battles against incoming space rock lifeforms, taking place in a ruined near-futuristic city. The protagonist of this game, Dillon the Armadillo, uses a spinning power as his weapon to protect his village from the invasion.

A few new games out came out this week on the various eShops. If you’re interested in checking out what’s new in screenshot form, take a look at the gallery below.

Minecraft: New 3DS Edition debuted this week. We’ve heard that local multiplayer will be added with a new update, but that isn’t the only feature on the way.

As mentioned by Mike Mika on Twitter, stereoscopic 3D is in the pipeline. Additionally, it’s not too far off. Mika says that it’s already functional and will be added in an update “super soon.”

Rainy Frog has confirmed another Nintendo titles for its lineup at this year’s Tokyo Game Show. Mekorama, which is being ported by Ratalakia Games, is slated for winter on Switch and 3DS.

Mekorama is a puzzle game where you help a tiny robot stumble home. It previously came to mobile. You can explore 50 tiny mechanical dioramas, and if features from the mobile version are in, you’ll be able to collect thousands of fan-made levels and create your own stages.

We’ve attached a trailer for the original mobile release of Mekorama below.
