Senran Kagura originally started out as a 3DS game. The series has expanded considerably since the series first debuted in 2011, and continues to reach new platforms. But as far as 3DS goes, producer Kenichiro Takaki says that things are “pretty much complete.”

When asked about the possible future of Senran Kagura on the portable, Takai said:

“The 3DS series is pretty much complete. Senran Kagura: Deep Crimson pretty much summed up the entire story so I have no plans to release any more 3DS titles.”

The next Senran Kagura came coming to a Nintendo platform is Shinobi Refle: Senran Kagura. While a release date hasn’t been announced,

It’s time for the latest Famitsu‘s most wanted games chart. Super Mario Odyssey enters the top five for the first time, and Pokemon Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon have a big bump.

Dragon Quest XI has a unique “Restricted Play” mode. When going through this mode, you can experience the RPG with certain features disabled.

Square Enix previously confirmed being unable to shop, being unable to run away from battle, and being unable to equip armor as the first three restrictions. The fourth was announced during the “Countdown Carnival” in Japan this past weekend.

Dragon Quest XI’s next restriction is known as “ashamed curse”. It makes you unable to speak properly to people in town, causes embarrassing things to happen in battle that make you unable to act (such as the elastic band of your underwear breaking), and has various other embarrassing elements.

A new interview has appeared with Level-5’s CEO. Glixel recently spoke with the company’s Akihiro Hino.

Hino had plenty to say about the Layton series, including its success in the west, continued popularity today, and how it came to be in the first place. He also commented on other topics as well.
