Koei Tecmo and Gust have issued a “first look” trailer for Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key. Yesterday, the two sides unveiled the new game during a Nintendo Direct.

Gust brand manager and Atelier Ryza series producer Junzo Hosoi introduces the first trailer. He also speaks about key elements of the title and shows off some gameplay.

Octopath Traveler II was just announced during yesterday’s Direct, leaving many fans craving for more details. It seems Square Enix is ready to deliver with a bit more information about the game, as they’re set to host a one hour-long livestreamed event for it through TGS 2022.

This livestream will take place on Saturday, September 17 at 5 PM JST / 1 AM PT / 4 AM ET / 9 AM BST. Beyond featuring new gameplay for the title, the game’s director (Keisuke Miyauchi), producer (Masashi Takahashi) and composer (Yasunori Nishiki) will also appear to discuss the game’s HD-2D visuals, its eight new main characters, new gameplay systems and more.

Niantic has just announced that the update switching payment methods for upgrading storage size has just been implemented. Notably, this means that you’ll no longer need to pay actual money to increase your maximum storage, and will instead be able to simply use in-game coins.

Following its announcement yesterday, Bandai Namco has shared more details for Tales of Symphonia Remastered, their upcoming rerelease of the GameCube classic. Most notably, they’ve opened a website for the game, which provides some new information on how the game will run.

On Switch, Tales of Symphonia Remastered will run at 1080p docked and 720p in handheld mode, which isn’t too surprising. Slightly more interesting is that the game will run at 30 FPS across all platforms. While this makes a relative amount of sense for the Switch, it’s somewhat surprising that other platform versions won’t run at a higher frame-rate.

Bushiroad has just put out a new trailer for their upcoming digital card game, Cardfight!! Vanguard Dear Days.

The game is based on the Cardfight!! Vanguard franchise, specifically the Cardfight!! Vanguard overDress anime. It’ll include over 1,000 Standard Format cards plus an original story.

Various Daylife gameplay

Publisher Aniplex and developer CyberConnect2 have set a release date for the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles DLC characters Entertainment District Tanjiro Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma, and Inosuke Hashibira. The full set is due out on September 16, 2022.

Nezuko Kamado (Advanced Demon Form) previously released as DLC for the game. The character launched last month.
