Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4

Following the launch of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2, many hoped that 3 and 4 would receive the same treatment. It turns out this was once the plan, but things didn’t work out in the end.

Tony Hawk actually revealed this information himself during a live stream with Twitch user andyTHPS. Hawk said that 3 and 4 were next in line for the remaster treatment, but the situation changed once Vicarious Visions became a part of Blizzard. When the two sides merged, Activision apparently looked for a different developer to take it on, but ultimately didn’t trust anyone else to take on the job.

lost ruins review

System: Switch
Release Date: June 6, 2022
Developer: Altari Games
Publisher: Dangen Entertainment

As I navigated the dark, sprawling catacombs and trap-filled dungeons of Lost Ruins, I was always deftly aware of the stakes at play. My protagonist – a plucky, somewhat oblivious schoolgirl who had somehow gotten herself transported to this strange land – was almost always a few missteps away from a grisly demise, be that via a hidden environmental trap or by the claws of a fast-moving zombie-like beast. Inevitably, I would falter and reload at my last checkpoint, often frustrated at myself for getting cornered or something similar – but every time, I was eager to jump back into the challenging world of Lost Ruins to explore more of the map and uncover its many secrets.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II game-breaking bug

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords players have come across a game-breaking bug in the newly-released Switch version. Because of it, there’s no way to progress all the way to the finish line.

Aspyr, the company that brought Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords to Switch, confirmed the issue on Twitter. When one fan asked if there is no way to complete the title currently, Aspyr acknowledged that this is the case. However, a patch is planned and will be distributed “as soon as possible.”

Roller Champions release date

Original (6/19): Ubisoft initially rolled out Roller Champions last month, but we’ve been unsure about the release date on Switch. If a new eShop listing is anything to go by, it appears that the title is just a few days away on Nintendo’s console.

Roller Champions is apparently slated for June 21, 2022. There technically hasn’t been an official announcement from Ubisoft, so we’ll let you know if anything changes.
