Summer Game Fest 2022 showcase live stream

The Summer Game Fest 2022 showcase will begin not too long from now, and we have a live stream for the event ready to go. Look for it to kick off at 11 AM PT / 2 PM ET / 7 PM in the UK / 8 PM in Europe.

Gamers can expect world premieres, trailers, news, and updates from developers and publishers during the event. Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course is one of the confirmed titles that’ll be showing up.

Delivery From the Pain

Publisher indienova, along with developer DigiPotato Studio, has announced Delivery From the Pain for Switch. The survival-themed apocalyptic horror game will be available starting today.

Delivery From the Pain has players take on on the role of a survivor as they try to find a way to escape in a zombie-infested city. The title features exploring (with a big map and 3D urban buildings), fighting, and resource collecting. There’s also over ten kinds of zombies with specific skills and four ultimate boss monsters. Multiple endings are included, too.

Following a previous Switch eShop debut, Strictly Limited Games has announced a physical release of Heaven’s Vault. Along with a standard edition (or technically limited edition), a Special Limited Edition is planned.

The regular version simply comes with the game and a manual. With the Special Limited Edition, fans will be provided with a special box, the same manual, original soundtrack with previously unreleased bonus tracks, ten puzzle cards, timeline of the Nebula, notebook, bookmark, and four transparent stickers. They’ll be limited to 1,900 units and 900 units respectively.

Metal Max Wild West cancelled

Metal Max: Wild West has been cancelled, publisher Kadokawa Games and developers 24Frame and Cattle Call announced today.

The project was first announced in 2019. Originally, it was known as Metal Max Xeno: Reborn 2.

Having now shown off the game’s various locales and given some small details regarding the plot and characters, Nintendo are now focusing on the music of Xenoblade Chronicles 3, and have shared the track “A Life Sent On” via Twitter. The flute track is played by Noah and Mio, and has been featured in part in previous trailers.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 will launch next month, on July 29.

Ahead of the release of Monster Hunter Rise’s Sunbreak expansion on June 30, Capcom have shared some new gameplay footage on Twitter of their RnD team tackling one of the new monsters that will feature in the expansion, Lunagaron. The footage showcases the monster’s attacks, as well as gameplay for the Charge Blade and Heavy Bowgun weapons. The tweet promises gameplay footage of Seregios will follow.

Developer Bedtime Digital Games have released a new trailer for Figment 2: Creed Valley, which was first confirmed for Switch eShop release last year during the Indie World Showcase. The trailer shows off some gameplay and draws attention to the Discarded Opinion Song which accompanies it, which reflects all of The Mind’s rejected ideas.
