Today, ININ Games and Taito passed along the release date for Parasol Stars: The Story of Bubble Bobble III. It’s due out on July 11, 2024.
Parasol Stars: The Story of Bubble Bobble III, which originally came to the PC Engine, was announced for Switch almost a year ago. Originally, the plan was to launch the port last year, but it ended up seeing a delay.

Thanks to GamesIndustry, we have new insight into the UK gaming market for May 2024.
There’s some good news here for Nintendo as Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door manages to crack the top ten – and that’s without digital data being reported. Elsewhere we see some of the usual games like EA Sports FC 24 and Hogwarts Legacy make the list.

SteamWorld Build just received its latest free update, dubbed “Steam Wave”.

May 22: Starting today, Nintendo Switch Online members can obtain new icons for Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. This celebrates the release of the Switch remake.
The first wave just went up a couple of minutes ago. As we typically see, there are designs for characters, backgrounds, and frames. Characters cost 10 Platinum Points each on My Nintendo. It’s 5 Platinum Points each for backgrounds and frames.

Publisher We Dig Games and developer Mass Creation have been working on Date Z, and the upcoming title is heading to Switch. It’s on track to debut in 2024.
Date Z is a visual novel dating sim in which you play as a transfer student who needs to secure a date by Friday to survive a deadly virus outbreak. High school drama, romance, and mystery are promised.

Switch screenshots have been a thing ever since the console’s release back in 2017. Unfortunately, sharing these screenshots and video just got harder – thanks to the newly-raised (and extremely high) cost of Twitter / X’s API, every major game console has cut support for the platform. Nintendo was the last to do so, and support for screenshot and video sharing on Twitter officially ended on June 11. Fortunately, there’s an incredibly easy way to share Switch screenshots and videos that has gone rather overlooked until now – and if you want to continue sharing your content, you’ll definitely want to know about it.
