Monster Hunter Rise

It’s time for the latest Famitsu’s most wanted games chart. This week, Monster Hunter Rise is still on top with over 1,000 votes while Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury and New Pokemon Snap move up several spots.

Head past the break for the full chart. All votes were cast between January 14 and January 20.

Autumn Games and Hidden Variable sent out a new teaser trailer today for Skullgirls 2nd Encore, which features upcoming DLC character Annie. She’ll be released on Switch in early 2021.

That’s not the only news, as the same video also teases an unannounced character that is currently in development. No further information was shared.

Wrestling Empire

MDickie recently started distribution of a new update for its 64-bit wrestling game Wrestling Empire. Version 1.0.2 contains additions such as expanded corner moves and first double-team moves, adjustments, fixes, and more.

Nintendo Switch Online

Nintendo has scheduled a bit of new maintenance. During the early portion of next week, the Nintendo Switch Online service will be impacted – specifically relating to save data with the cloud.

Thomas Was Alone

A couple of days ago, the platformer Thomas Was Alone received a new demo on Switch. Have a look at some footage in the video below.

Super Mario 3D World

Super Mario 3D World on Switch is largely the same as it was on Wii U, but there are a few changes and additions. Among them is in the inclusion of online multiplayer for the first time.

Binarystar Infinity

After announcing Binarystar Infinity for Switch earlier this month, Forever Entertainment has set a release date. The shoot ’em up title is scheduled for February 4.
