WWE 2K Battlegrounds has been given a new patch on Switch. Version 1.1.0.0 includes improvements and fixes for King of the Battleground as well as general gameplay.

Super Lone Survivor announced for Switch

Lone Survivor: The Director’s Cut made it to Wii U back in 2014. Superflat Games has now announced a new version of its psychological survival adventure known as Super Lone Survivor, and it’s coming to Switch.
Super Lone Survivor is a remake of the original game with a new “Ascending” scenario. Super Flat Games says “it has been rewritten from scratch in a modern engine”. Not much is known about the new scenario at present, but we do have confirmation that the Switch version is already running at 60 frames per second. Difficulty modes may also be included.

Ruined King: A League of Legends Story announced for Switch

Riot Forge today confirmed that Ruined King: A League of Legends Story is coming to Switch. It’s being developed by Airship Syndicate, the team behind Battle Chasers: Nightwar and Darksiders Genesis.
Ruined King: A League of Legends Story is a single-player turn-based RPG featuring the baddest of Bilgewater. You’ll be able to play as Miss Fortune, Illaoi, Braum, Yasuo, Ahri, or Pyke and venture into the ever-creeping Black Mist.

Mario Kart Tour – Sunset Tour announced

Mario Kart Tour will be hosting a new event next week. The Sunset Tour goes live on November 3 at 10 PM PT / November 4 at 1 AM ET, Nintendo has announced.
While you wait for the new event, you can still participate in the Halloween Tour. That one will be live right until the Sunset Tour begins.

Nintendogs is one of Nintendo’s most successful DS games having sold over 20 million units. The journey to get there wasn’t easy though. Even within Nintendo’s internally, there were doubts as to whether the game would actually succeed.
David Yarnton, former Nintendo UK general manager, told GamesIndustry that “a lot of the hardcore gamers in our team poo-pooed it.” Once they got some hands-on time though, it didn’t take long for them to be “converted”.

Sakurai on Minecraft in Smash Bros. Ultimate, making Steve complex, breaking Twitter

In his 651st column for Famitsu, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate director Masahiro Sakurai discussed the new DLC for Minecraft’s Steve. Sakurai apparently had several challenges with implementing the fighter – despite the popularity of the character, he did not want Steve to be a watered-down addition to the roster. Though he kept it vague, Sakurai also stated the music for Minecraft gave the team quite the headache.
