To promote the launch of Little Nightmares: Complete Edition on Switch today, Bandai Namco has come out with a new live action trailer. View it below.

PixelJunk Monsters 2

Q-Games’ first Switch game isn’t too far off. PixelJunk Monsters 2, as published by Spike Chunsoft, will be out on May 25.

The good news is that Q-Games isn’t stopping there with Switch. Speaking with Nintendo Life, co-founder Dylan Cuthbert said that the company is “definitely thinking about at least two new things in the pipeline, at least two more titles” when it comes to Nintendo’s console.

Unfortunately, Cuthbert didn’t elaborate on specifics for upcoming projects.

Fire Emblem Heroes - Bridal Bloom

The trailer for the upcoming Bridal Bloom summoning focus hid a little secret: Marth in a special groom outfit could be glimpsed at the end. Since he isn’t part of the summoning focus, that means that he will be available through other means. Nintendo of Europe has now confirmed via Twitter that Marth: Altean Groom will be available as a reward in the next Tempest Trials+ event, which will start on May 25th.

Also, a new set of quests are now available in Fire Emblem Heroes. The Weapon Workout quests require you to defeat a certain number of enemies with each type of weapon (swords, lances, axes, colorless bows, daggers, red tomes, blue tomes, green tomes and staves). There are quests for defeating foes of any level, as well as foes that are at least level 35. The rewards include orbs, stamina potions, arena medals and great badges.

Nintendo published a new (Japanese) trailer for Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker today. The video shows off both the Switch and 3DS versions of the game:

The Bit.Trip series has had an interesting aesthetic progression. Starting out as an assortment of simple WiiWare rhythm games with mock Atari 2600-style visuals, it treated a few simple gameplay concepts with a kind of low fidelity presentation suitable for the WiiWare service’s strict file size limitations. Out of this collection, Bit.Trip Runner found the most success. Being the least abstract of the series, the autorunning rhythm platformer was fashioned after Pitfall, if Pitfall had trance-inducing chiptune music. Runner2 released with a revamped 3D art style and a musical style that was appropriately more sophisticated. In most ways, Runner3 is a natural progression from Runner2, cutting down on superfluous gameplay concepts and evolving the Bit.Trip formula to an impressive degree. Its control nuances and smart level design makes for one of the least stiff and most improvisational autorunning games that I’ve played.
