WayForward reveals “Friends to the End” expansion for Shantae: Half-Genie Hero

When Shantae: Half-Genie Hero was on Kickstarter, a “friends mode” stretch goal was funded. It promised Sky, Bolo, and Rottytops as playable characters. There’s more to this than just a new mode, as WayForward is calling it “Friends to the End” as an entirely new expansion.
First details about Friends to the End have just been posted on Kickstarter in a new update. WayForward provides the following information:

Choice Provisions shows off a costume from Runner3

Just like with the previous game, Runner3 will feature costumes. Choice Provisions showed off one of them in a blog post today.
The image above is a look at one of Unkle Dill’s new costumes with you. Specifically, it’s Unkle Dill’s Supper Pants. The costume is actually inspired by one of the advertisements in Runner3, which you can see at the source link below.

Capcom talks about the new features of Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney

Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney is making its way to 3DS later this month. It’s largely the same game we’ve seen before, but it’s not merely a port. That’s because Capcom has included some new features.
Capcom’s first blog post for Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney on 3DS goes over what’s new. It has additions like the Japanese version, the ability to try again from where the trial ended if you fail, and more. You can read the full blog post here.
Super Mario Odyssey sold through 90% of its initial shipment in Japan

Super Mario Odyssey sold 450,000 copies in its first week in Japan, give or take. That’s based on sales over just a three-day period.
Dengeki now adds that Super Mario Odyssey sold through 90 percent of its initial shipment. The sales tracker says that it’s offer to a good start, and will now be looking to see how much new and existing fans can be attracted.

Spellspire hitting Switch next week

10tons is bringing yet another game to Switch next week. On November 9, Spellspire will be available. The game will cost $9.99.
Spellspire is a wordgame and RPG mashup in which you’re tasked with climbing a 100 level tower. We have more details and a trailer below.

Toys “R” us is running a new sale starting today. If you buy one game for either Switch or Wii U, you can get another one at 40% off. The same offer applies to 3DS titles, but only with a 20% discount. Games like Super Mario Odyssey and Zelda: Breath of the Wild are eligible.
