For its latest release in the Arcade Archives series, Hamster has announced Tatakae Big Fighter. A worldwide launch is happening tomorrow, April 17.
Tatakae Big Fighter, which first debuted in 1989, comes from Nichibutsu. Also known as Sky Robo, it’s a shoot ’em up game and a spin-off of the Terra Cresta series.

February 27: MotoGP 25 will be released on Nintendo Switch, Milestone announced today. We also have a release date of April 30, 2025.
MotoGP 25 is the latest entry in the racing and sports series. Milestone says that it will contain “all the riders and tracks of the 2025 season from the most exciting sport on earth, MotoGP, as well as Moto2 and Moto3.” Brno in Czechia and Balaton Park in Hungar are among the included tracks.

March 18: Nikoderiko: The Magical World is set to receive a new Director’s Cut, it’s been announced. It will be available on April 15, 2025.
The new Director’s Cut will offer new features, including expanded levels, new secrets to uncover, optimized mechanics, and more. We’ve also heard that the team is sprucing up the visuals, but further details weren’t shared.

Today, Red Art Games provided the release date for Spellcaster University. The title launches for Nintendo Switch on May 2, 2025.
Made by Sneaky Yak Studio, Spellcaster University was confirmed for Nintendo Switch launch back in 2023. It was originally planned for early 2024, but a delay occurred.

Atlus just came through with a new batch of Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army details covering the cast of characters, demons, and progression systems.
The supernatural RPG will have over 120 demons, with several of the new demons recognizable from Devil Summoner 2: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. King Abaddon and Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance. Also covered is Kenzo Satake, Sadakichi, Kiyoshi Daidouji, Hell’s Pawns, and Red Cape and their roles in the game.

Libragames’ upcoming title The Beast and the Princess will be getting a Nintendo Switch version, the studio announced today. The game lands on the console later in 2025.
The Beast and the Princess is a tower defense game at its core in which players can combo ultimate moves to take down enemies. There’s a story here as well with two princess twins end up trapped in a game.

April 2: The recently-released Split Fiction has been confirmed for Nintendo Switch 2. It will be available at launch.
Split Fiction, a co-op adventure game, just debuted not too long ago to a strong reception. The Nintendo Switch 2 version will take advantage of GameShare and GameChat. With GameShare, you can play locally with just one copy of the game with another player on their Nintendo Switch 2, even if they don’t own the title. GameChat will let players share live video and voice chat from their console system while playing Split Fiction together.
